This is how you get your ex back! Get my 3 most powerful meditations FOR FREE here: ➡️ www.AaronDoughty.com/meditations
Going no contact is perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do. If someone else is losing interest or retracting energy, or if you've just moved through a relationship, one of the most powerful things you can do to really move on and to also at the same time stop tuning to somebody else is to go no contact, meaning you have no contact.
You do not reach out. You do not find out how they're doing. You do not creep on their Instagram. These are things that you do in order to go no contact, which has so many benefits, I'm gonna explain in a minute, but it only really works when you do what I share
with you in this video.
A lot of people do this the wrong way and because they do it the wrong way they don't actually reap the benefits of it.
So, when talking about no contact, I've made videos about this before. Some of my most popular videos talks about what happens when you energetically go no contact.
But basically in a nutshell, what happens is when you're with somebody else, your energy fields are very intertwined, energy fields are very connected. And what happens is when you are even thinking of somebody else and you are around them a lot, you end up sharing fields in a way, energy fields.
And what ends up happening as well is when you're thinking of somebody, even if you're not physically around them, you'll find that you thinking about them, wanting them to come around, wanting their approval, wanting their validation, when you think of them you are literally energetically sending them energy.
I know this sounds esoteric and kind of weird, but just I've seen this happen so many times in my own life and other people's lives when I share this concepts and these ideas.
And what happens is when you go no contact, what you begin to do is you begin to clear the communication, clear the energy fields between you and somebody else.
Now, when you clear the energy and you stop sending that person energy you allow the other person to regroup. If it is meant to come back together you actually give space for it to do so. Now, one of the main reasons people pull away and retract their energy energetically is because they want space.
They want space. Maybe there's a little bit too much intimacy there. Maybe they have intimacy blocks. Maybe they want space because there's some type of needy energy there.
Sometimes that happens, where the way somebody tries to control the dynamic is they're like, "Okay, I'm gonna get this person to come around. "I'm gonna talk to them a lot. "I'm gonna send them a whole bunch of messages."
And the more you do that the more it actually blocks it from working, the more you actually push that person away.
And when you retract your energy and you bring your energy back and you stop trying to control everything, everything ends up working out and you allow and you give space and you give space for somebody to realize how much they appreciate you.
Or you give them space and then you in your own energy realize that maybe it wasn't actually conducive for you, maybe it actually wasn't the healthiest thing for you.
But in general, the reason letting go and the reason going no contact is so powerful is because you stop projecting energy at somebody else.
Now, imagine this, imagine you're saying, "This person is not doing what I want them to do. "They're not texting me back. "I feel like they're in resistance. "They don't understand the dynamic that we have. "I don't get it. "What's going on here."
You're feeling resistance. And when you feel resistance and then you think of that person, you're literally sending resistant energy to them. And when they think of you they're feeling the energy you're projecting at them.
So it's like the resistance is being projected at them. They feel that. And then it repels them even more. And they say, "I want more space. "I want more space."
And going no contact is what you do is you stop sending them energy. You stop sending them resistance. You stop even energetically thinking about them. You start focusing more on yourself.
You start focusing more on your own, being in your own body, doing your own things in life, being around your own friends, living according to your own integrity, following your own purpose.
You are being called to right now, I believe to bring the energy back to yourself. Pull your energy back, bring it back to yourself. When you do that, you then start to feel more safe in your own body.
I've seen this happen so many times with people that are having trouble letting go of their ex and they're thinking about them and they're trying to make it work and they're texting them a lot.
And then I say, "Yo, pull your energy back. "Put the energy within yourself. "Put the energy within your own life. "Live by according to your own values. "Follow your own purpose."

Changed my whole day ☺️ was sending energetic resistance to *him* since i woke up. So far 9 days no contact. I wanted a committed relationship, he didn’t want the same thing. I couldn’t force him to want the same thing so I said goodbye and so did he. He was 1000% a soulmate, but I know Im worthy of a committed relationship with someone im extremely attracted too on a spiritual and physical level at the same time 🥰 I know what I want and I wont settle for less. Wish everyone the best xo

When they reach out again after 40 days, it means, there was noone better than you to be found! You should say them "have a nice life" and delete the number. Because if they went nk contact with you for 40 dats it means, you are NOT IMPORTANT. THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN SOON.

No contact isn't to "get the other person back," no contact is for YOU. If you do no contact correctly, you get the time and perspective to see that relationship for what it was and realize someone better is on their way. It's easy to think, when you're wrapped up in someone, that just because they're the best you've had so far it means they're the best you'll ever get. Most of the time, if you really committed to no contact and invested all that energy back into yourself, by the time your ex shows back up you've taken reconciliation off the table.

I love this and what Aaron says about “stop abandoning yourself.” I think he is describing the ideal state for no contact, but I also think it’s okay to just practice the behavior of no contact even if you can’t get a person out of your head. Fake it til you make it. If you have an anxious attachment style, it will be very hard to stop focusing thoughts on a person, but Aaron’s advice of stopping the social media stalking and all forms of contact will be a great place to start. Eventually you will get there energetically too.

My ex really hurt me. I thought everything was good and I felt secure. She out of nowhere broke up with me right after I moved 200 miles to be close to her after driving there every weeekend for about 5 months, through snow storms, covid lockdown restrictions, I was crushed. She always kept in contact though, I finally got her to admit she liked this other guy more but he was married and he left his wife to be with her. Well, her always contacting me and checking on me always kept me in a broken hearted state. I finally blocked her on everything and I started feeling 100 times better. When I'd talk to her I would get so happy and feel on top of the world, then I'd feel so depressed and sad. Forget about your ex, she's stealing your energy.

I was fool enough to contact an ex. She was in an already crappy relationship, and we slept a couple times. The guy broke up with her, she went depressed BUT kept contact with him in some sports teams almost daily. Nevertheless she was texting me all day long, called me a couple times a day (at least), but I was clear in my non-platonic intentions. She went from reluctantly accepting to outright rejecting me, so I quit. She went MAD about it. I now can feel the energy she was sucking out of me. Don’t make my same mistake, guys.

This message is what I needed today, I've been expending too much of my energy trying to stay in contact and I just need to go no contact and focus on myself. It's been draining me.

Yes I highly believe in no contact too. One of my ex bfs send me a letter recently. I didn’t read the letter I didn’t want to know how he was doing I threw it right into the trash. Of course a part of me found it really tempting but I didn’t want to exchange any of my energy with his and give the universe wrong signs. I don’t want any contact. I think that is the best thing to do in a lot of situations.

I would like to add one small bit for those who have divorced but still co-parent, you can have no contact on everything he just said BUT, when you do need to communicate for the children's sake, keep it 100% like a business conversation. Texts are short and direct and usually involve scheduling of schooling, doctor appointments, and anything related to the well-being of the kiddos.

This popped up in my feed and I really needed to hear it. I didn’t realize I was abandoning myself in reaching for connection and proving my worth. I got closure yesterday by saying “I am not continuing this connection. Your actions do not match your words and I’m sick of being ghosted constantly. Good luck.” It’s hard not to check socials and you grieve memories with the person as well but it does get better. 💕 I’m going to block socials to keep from checking and I’m combining EFT on limiting beliefs of worthiness and not being enough as well as abandonment issues. Thank you Aaron for sharing your priceless wisdom! It has been a real rough time going no contact with someone I hung out with everyday the past year and made so many new memories/experiences I’ve wanted all my life with to nothing at all and this person texting me “be gone” as a ways of breaking up with me and telling me they don’t want me in their life anymore as an anxiously attached person..one of the most heartbroken I felt in my 22 years of life so far. I’ve been learning a lot about myself and my fault in the approach I have to intimate relationships I share and how much I lose myself & my dreams for others. Not anymore, I will be there for myself before I am others from now on till I am back on solid ground in my own presence. This person is still very much in my life but I now have to let him go. I thank him for being my teacher. Lesson learnt. I now must start to unpack the abandonment from my childhood. This is exactly what I've been experiencing with a girl I really felt for. It was a sudden, electric kind of relationship and suddenly she just pulled away. It was gradual and confusing and it's just now becoming the basis of my daily life - I don't hear from her (unless she wants something). I've been watching video after video about this subject and how to react, how to just pull back yourself. THIS, THIS VIDEO right here is by far the best thing I've heard on this subject. If only you could've seen all my head nods and responses spoken back to my computer screen. This really hit home and I'm going to ride with it. Just yesterday, I started to convince myself that this separation between her and me was my opportunity to truly discover my inner self and learn to give that person by far the most love out of any other on this planet. Thank you. Take my sub while I go take my energy back!

That also still comes down to one having an anxious attachment style (the one who lets themselves get breadcrumbed) and the avoidant attachment style (the one who does the breadcrumbing)

thank you very much this was my medicine for today!! going through this atm. first I initially broke up because it was toxic, then she dragged me back in because she was being needy but she was guilt tripping me... then I fell for it and then she turned around and dumped me after she felt better about the break up lol obviously more to it on a personal level.. but we got this people.. know ur self worth, move away from those toxic people.. remember we are good people and want the best.

Hey man. Your my hero. I did that a few times in my life. And this last time works faster, even with a really special person to me. I tried to be friend but was so bad for me that I decided to do my way. I have a lot of respect for your knowledge.

you’ve said a couple of things here that i related to, that have not come about in nearly 3 years of therapy. the fact i go inward sometimes expecting people to know and react to how i’m feeling. powerful stuff. great video

When I'm present and I feel it when someone thinks about me, sometimes their image pops in my mind so I see a lot of truth in this information in this video. Sometimes a client I haven't seen for even a year or more just pops in my head and I know virtually 100% of the time they will reach out within days to book and appointment. Out thoughts really are that powerful. Aloha

Very interesting to read. I also think about a person very often and then suddenly the person appears in the physis. Do u think, when you think about a person, the other Person also thinks about you? I try to figure out if we do telepathy or does it comes from a place of wanting the person around me…

Rather than just saying “focus on yourself rather than waiting for his text” this is way more effective and understandable advice. I tried protest manipulation but like you said couldn’t hide needy energy when I meet him again because of all the emotional rollercoaster I was on while on the protest period. This video and few other of yours totally changed my perspective and I already feel better about myself and about letting go. Thank you.

Thank you Aaron, this is really something that I was thinking of doing, you put a name/label/deeper explanation in it. It is actually virtuous--while thinking of no contact taking care of yourself in the process, removing yourself from an already hurtful situation. but also somewhat wishing the other person to be well. I'm now trying to CHOOSE ME over anybody else (in a nurturing way---a not so easy task being a people pleaser and an empath not just with my romantic relationship), and having a glimpse of little success day by day giving a balm to my wounded soul.... I hope other people having such experiences will also benefit from it. GOD bless you!

Very worldly but informational…things take time, don’t destroy your morals & values & be true to Christ & the good that is inside of you when the devil tries to tear you apart! This is why it’s important to know Gods word as well as the woman you choose to intertwine your soul with as we are connected in our mind, body, & souls. Choose the hard right & do good because simply it is good to be good! Forgive one another & stop holding onto the past to live present in the future or the devil will keep dragging you back down reminding you to keep you at a current state. Stop blaming your trauma & take accountability for your actions…do unto others as you would have done unto yourself!

I just got out of a 4 1/2 year relationship and we were engaged to get married. 1 month before our wedding, she walked out of my life. I’m 36 years old, I felt like she was the one. I spent the last 4 years investing into her school and career , our relationship and it’s abrupt end has been really tough. I’m starting to see though that we probably both had some sort of abandonment issues…. She kept wanting to come back , just to have sex with me, and I emotionally couldn’t handle it bc I’m in love with her and that’s not what I want. I’ve went full no contact to work on myself, but it’s still a brutal reality to face.

@carmenkamberos1156 Жыл бұрын
@mattcanflyhigh, yes, that was very inconsiderate of your g/f to leave you just like that. For whatever reasons, she left, the pain, hurt and disappointment are really brutal, so cold!!! Only God can help you overcome this mortal blow! Turn to Jesus, and ask for His guidance and love. Go to a full gospel church where you can find support and counseling, healthy friends too. Nowadays people have no problem hurting other people’s feelings, no shame, no heart! No wonder society is so rotten, drugs, crime etc. No feelings, so much materialism!!! Incredible !!! Stay strong and don’t go back to her for nothing. You deserve better. Plenty of fish in the ocean… Blessings

6 years in a relationship and we both just left each other mutual separation. It’s been about 60 days and I can say I’m completely have moved forward and don’t even think of my ex at all. Yesterday I got a call from her during the day and at night but I didn’t answer. Just feel if I answer than I’m going backwards again when I’m so motivated to move forward and start my life fresh and new. Thankful I don’t know how but everyday that goes by I feel stronger and better with myself and I’m even getting to the point of meeting somebody soon. So if anybody is feeling down no contact is the best way to go and not to get your ex back but for you to move forward with your life. Remember they are your ex for a reason always keep that in mind. Good luck everybody!
