I’m so glad that you touch on the narcissist v empath conversation. To add to what you said, I believe the work of an “empath” is to learn how to consistently ground in their Self. I know many believe that being an empath is a magical gift, but it has a lot of roots in trauma & the ways we’ve learned to cope. Folks w high levels of narcissism learned to cope by projecting their sense of self & reality at the expense of others. Empaths learned to cope by enmeshing with their surroundings- hyper-aware of subtle cues, especially from caregivers. Therefore, to heal (because both need healing), the empath would need to learn to attune to the self, to maintain their own frame in the presence of others, and to stay grounded in their own energy. Basically, learning how to distinguish *me* from *other*… we are connected but we have to balance that out.

Thanks Aaron for another great video. Also thanks for being goofy at the end. It really annoyed me and is absolutely what i needed for some good old growth. This made me realize that when people act goofy it triggers that old core wound of judgment from a parent in childhood. Being told to “grow up”when joking around and having fun. I am afraid of showing this goofy side in front of others so it also stirs up energy when i see someone else doing it. Almost like a fear of you being judged as well like i was. Anyways gives me something to dig into. Much love!

With everything you said about this idea of a stamp of approval, it's why I can't bring myself to post anything on facebook, cause the moment I do, I feel myself expecting at least a few likes, or stamps, and then feel disappointed if I get none. I'd rather just be supportive towards other people and I can just be the stamp of approval for myself. I am the stamp all covered in ink, the ink symbolizing the validation. Compliments can feel good, but they should never be considered permission to feel good.
@alexanderalzate85607 ай бұрын
i relate to this.. ive recently deactivated my facebook because of a heartbreak.. but now im close to healing fully and i dont know if i wanna comeback or not. i want them to know my story and i wanna see them that ive moved on.. but just like what you said, it is like expecting a stamp or validation from others.. even though i dont really care if they see me or not. still a lil bit confused to be honest
@Masi.Capone7 ай бұрын
@@alexanderalzate8560 The problem for me was that I kept posting memes that no one seemed to care about, or maybe they would laugh but don't bother to click anything, so instead of that, I finally decided to post something that was just an expression of who I am. I posted a message about how love is all that matters and how it can transform the world. Had a few reactions but it wasn't about that. I just wanted to inspire the right people or any one that reads it, so if you wanna post a message about your healing, then go for it. This is something every one goes through. Someone on your facebook may need to hear what you have to say. Sharing a funny meme isn't bad, but it's not an expression of who I am.

So great you touched on the Alfred Adler philosophy. I read a book past Christmas and got fascinated with his philosophy. Here some of the notes that I scribbled down. Objectives for behaviour; To be self-reliant, live in harmony with society Objectives for the psychology that supports behaviours; Consciousness that ‘I have the ability’ and consciousness that ‘people are comrades. Freedom is being disliked by other people. I love all the community feeling’ psychology.. anyway, THE COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED is a great book to understand Adler philosophy. His own works are a challenging read.. thanks for the video here

My spiritual journey has only just begun a few months ago, and for me it was rooted in the concepts of all being connected to a source of creation, realizing no one is better than anyone and we're all just on our own path with our own purpose on this earth, but I won't lie, I did have some thoughts flooding into me a few weeks ago that could've lead to a messiah complex. It probably happens to every one at some point, but I have someone in my life who's kind of like a guru and he said they're just thoughts and not to chase them, so I didn't. I'll just admit it. I have thoughts about being God in the flesh, but I only see it in such a way that I see all humans and all organisms as God in the flesh (which thankfully has lead me to wanting to be vegetarian, cause if life is all sacred, then treat it that way), and I don't go around telling people that directly, but I enjoy connecting with others in ways that make sense, depending on what's important to them. Pick any topic in life, and you'll connect to God without even mentioning God. The last thing I wanna do is scare people. Every one needs something different. I spent my early 20s as an atheist and completely consumed by ego thinking I'm better than most people. I don't need that anymore. It's exhausting.

All that truly matters at the end of the day is what you give yourself to as the soul in between mind and body. Most align with the physical body or the thoughts they experience when they’re something in between experiencing both. The ultimate perceiver, pure awareness.
@TheGreyShaman8 ай бұрын
Like these people he speaks of, they’ve merely given their vessel to the entities that implant thoughts via consciousness. What they offer is very real, but at the same time it’s only one reality, why limit yourself to one 3D reality as the 4D construct of soul when we have a whole multiverse at our fingertips within this 4D construct of time? And that’s not even mentioning all the other 4D constructs of time in existence.

What's so interesting is that, in majority forms of natural healing, whether it's energy healing or Ayurveda, one of the most important principles is to view every being as a "whole". It starts with our perception of someone. When we view someone as though that they need to be "fixed", means that we are not viewing them as a "whole" being. Healing starts the moment we shift our perception of someone to view them as "whole". This is another reason why I'm so against labels when it comes to any "imbalances" or "dis-ease".
