Just tried this out after YOLO box put it in their community email. Works great. I used a VZ jetpack and a mini TP-Link router to add a hotspot connection via ethernet, another hotspot connected via Wi-Fi, and lastly the built in Yolo wifi cellular connection to get a combined 3 networks of connectivity! I'm going to put this into a race car and live stream the cameras from the car. With the redundant connections I should always have good quality video coming out!

Hey Feng --- agreed! If you were able to enhance the Yolobox software so it continues running in the background when the user switches out (e.g. to administer the Speedify connection during a stream), I think that would reduce risk during a stream if things are not working perfectly and we need to check the speedify stats. Is that possible?

Frank, why isn't this possible anymore? I was actually able to find a different workaround and access my Google Drive inside the Yolobox but all download attempts fails for "Too many redirects". This is a great option, can we get a fix asap?

It seems as though the latest YoloBox Pro update has made this technique no longer valid. Can you check and see if there is a new way to gain access to the Chrome browser? Even when I was able to work around to my Google Drive, I could not get my download. It is probably important to mention that I have done your technique on my other YoloBox Pro about a year ago and it worked flawlessly. Any help would be appreciated!

Just to reaffirm: I have installed Speedify on the Yolobox Mini and it works like a charm. There are a couple of glitches, but it finally works. For instance, you get a new touch area on top of the typical yolobox interface in order to access the speedify backend. Not easy to put it into place without blocking parts of the keyboard. And (new situation with the yolobox). It can'T seem to remember my youtube channel every time I restart the yolobox. So, for every stream I have to remove the "old" KZbin connection and reconnect to my google/youtube account. Other than that, it simply works. I currently use a internal SIM-card and my mobile phone's WIFI simultaneously to do my streams in places where there is no strong signal. Just once, I was having troubles when I stood next to three "real TV crews" all of them using their "LiveU" packs with up to 8 internal SIM cards. Is it possible that they have gobbled up all the bandwith on location?

I remember looking in to Sling Studio, Terradek, Live U, and now this. Why not just buy a Dejero backpack bonding 10 cell connections and be done with it? Even if you have 10 cell connections, what do you do when the communications grid goes down where you have streamed successfully in the past? Then you consider satellite and on and on and on it goes. I think this could be good for someone who has nothing at the moment and needs bonding. And for $8.99/month for the bonding service this does seem like a legit solution for streaming needs. Plus the $50/month per carrier for an unlimited data plan times X number of carriers and this could be $160/month for three carriers.

Any clue when Yololiv plans to support multiple LTE/5G connections officially? I'd like to bond the 4G LTE with an extra 5G USB modem on that USB port or the Type-C port. I'd hope that could perform as stable as a LiveU system when livestreaming at a busy tech conference.

Never again a touch screen to operate something. Nothing could be worse. Now we have the Adem Mini Pro and a nice audio mixer with all firm buttons. Could almost operate it blindfold. Such a joy.

So I added Speedify on my YoloBox pro a just about the time this video came out. Recently, I was having some network issues. Not able to connect on WiFi or Ethernet, but only my SIM card connection worked. But after my livestream event; I tried turning Speedify Off, and my connection works for WiFi and Ethernet. Would it because the Speedify apK needs an update? Ever since this video came out YoloBox Pro has had many firmware updates.

When i click on add account I do not get the same screen. I think they have fixed this backdoor workaround? I get a screen that says "One account. All of google". and it want me to sign in to my google account. After i sign in a get the yoloLiv wants to access you account screen. when I click allow it just goes back to the screen with add account at the bottom. there is never a screen that has the dots or the https at the top? I think a better comparison would be bonding multiple cell phones. Wifi and ethernet in your office likely use the same isp, so bonding doesn't make a ton of sense. Plug USB c to ethernet adapter to the mobile Hotspot device and share mobile Hotspot via wifi of another device. Both can be cell phones. That is what I'm looking at, but I've not seen benefits of speedify over simply using 5g.

I did that (2 cells, one thru a standalone hotspot + cell phone hotspot). Unfortunately for me, the cell phone was an LTE signal while the hotspot was 5G. The two do not mix well in a bonding situation. As you said, I was better off flying solo on 5G.

@@erikpaullive In the US, 4G LTE streaming over cellular has a lower max kbps than does 5G per the cell providers terms of service. My device is set to stream at 5G, say 3000 kbps. The 5G signal fades leaving the 4G signal. The 4G network max kbps is half the bandwidth per cell carrier network management. Net result: buffering.

Still, my biggest complaint with the YOLO box is the interface.Having to create a stream every time doesn’t seem to be the most intuitive way of working. I would like to see a box whereby you could input stream destinations and stream keys or RTMP info for specific streams.

WIthout Speedify running, I'm presuming you need to tell Yolobox which network connection to use (or set priorities if there are multiple connections) when steraming. With Speedify running, does Yolobox no longer see the individual network paths and just a new single network (the bonded/vpn one)? Technically what's going on there?

They have a good help article about the details here: support.speedify.com/article/273-how-speedify-works Essentially Speedify is a VPN service so the Android OS turns on that vpn and all traffic is sent to it, then the Speedify app is able to take advantage of each network interface independently to route traffic thru all of them. Without Speedify, it acts as a normal Android device and the OS chooses which connections to prioritize.

Not really. Even if you could find an app for that, there wouldn't be a way to get the yolobox app to recognize it as a camera input. Yololiv would need to build an RTMP receiver into the yolobox app itself.

Not what you just demonstrated (big thanks for this video), but If I have speedily on my phone, I can bond the 5G/4G hotspot supplied by my phone and an existing (house/venue) wifi, and this would create a bonded wifi connection (from Speedify) that I can connect to via yolobox, correct?

Hi Aaron thank you for your helpful videos. i installed speedify on my YB last week and it does not work, this weekend was the fourth time i tried using it and it did not work. when i turn on YB initially with any internet (wifi or eth) connected to the YB there is no internet (wifi icon or eth icon) YB says no internet connection. i go to speedify turn it off internet comes on. before i uninstall is there anything else i need to do? i followed your instructions installation sims to be correct. and second if i can't get it to work how do i go back to original OS?

I've seen that happen on the yolobox even without Speedify, it takes a minute to connect to wifi and it first says there's no internet when it first turns on. It finds the internet after a few seconds and then works

now that you have "opened" the Android system it may technically be even possible to connect the mevo cameras to it? That would require soms hacks but if possible you may add the mevo cameras as input sources (technically speaking).

There doesn't seem to be a way to get other video sources into the yolobox app itself, but yeah you could run other android apps that could work with the Mevo cameras like an NDI app of some sort.

Is there any way to return the yolobox to its original state? my device has been hacked with Trafficmonetizer and I tried to restore it to factory, but it didn't work, it still shows that service and it hasn't deleted Jina Drawer. and I'm not able to find that app to uninstall it. I have asked yololiv support but they haven't answered yet. Be careful because it seems that if the pirates do it right, the service is quite hidden and they make money with our data.

I'm very curious how you ended up with that installed, it shouldn't be possible to accidentally install things like that easily. There is a hard reset procedure but you'll need to contact yololiv support for details.

The ability to use Chrome makes me wonder if YoloBox will work within StreamYard or another similar live streaming solution. My main interest is the integration of HDMI cameras into the application. Has anyone here already tried this out?

It sort of works... Chrome wants to be in vertical mode (why I kept having to rotate the yolobox during this setup), and then the video shows up rotated 90 degrees. So you can join a StreamYard room but your video ends up in portrait mode. If you rotate your camera it would work though!
