Rip has been a guiding light in my training almost 10 years back when I first discovered his "starting strength" program. Thanks to him I was able to cut through the noise that current fitness industry has to offer and always stick to the basics. It is just emotionally hard to see people like him grow old. May he be with us, guiding us for the longest time. Love and respect from India.

I will continue to do my 45 pound squats until I’m able to do a 495 single. Because this has been proven in scientifical studies you know.

@@tmackn6592 oh yeah there are several less than good ones out. Tren, anadrol, basically all orals (I sometimes use Dbol as a preworkout androgen, but the low back pumps turn me off. Low dose, 15mg max 3x/wk). For me, its test, primo or mast, and some NPP. Thats it. EQ ester is too long, Deca, Tren, and a bunch of others are just too little risk v reward, imo. Anavar being a conditional exception.

Can’t be separated as a novice. A novice can maximise strength and muscle mass simultaneously. After that you can skew it towards your specific goal but there is no separating them.
