СSome Scottish gaelic songs though have similar sounding and arrangements. I like them also a lot. Like the Bulgarian ethnic songs. It's interesting but while major seconds sound dissonant overall one can actually "tune" them by ear. For example a major second sung as a frequency interval of 9/8 will sound more harmonious.
