It’s times like these when kayaking provides therapy that you didn’t know you necessarily needed. That’s why I’m so happy I’ve recently gotten into the sport, with help from your reviews Dan. Cheers from Minnesota, brother!

I use to visit a friend in the late 70's who lived near the Albion River. He had a pontoon boat with a wench and some tongs. He would grab hold of the redwood sinkers and beach them where another guy with a portable saw mill would cut into lumber. It's a beautiful place. I never saw any floating houses back then.

I have done a little bit of paddling in my younger days, that said this area looks like a prime big foot country! Real Squatchy there, i can sense it! Man I'm up here in Michigan but i was out there two summers in a row in 1973 & 74 visiting my sister in Paso Robles! We took 3 trips up in the north to the Redwoods and it's stuck with me all these years!😮😀✌️

Nice I was there that week also and took a boat way up the river.actually I think you can live on any navigable river channel. That 2 story house is still inhabited I think they still park their salmon boat there every winter. We scored albacore and a bluefin while fishing 12 miles out that week.
