I believe the word you were looking for with the cloth paintings is “needlepoint”. When they are larger and not framed they are called “tapestries”. What an absolutely beautiful home. I’m so excited that y’all are exploring in Spain. I have always hoped to see more of this amazing country. So sad that the son was not able to take over the house. A wonderful video gentlemen, as always.

I hate it to the point of almost not being able to watch. It kills me to see all the artwork, china and valuables left in these homes to rot! It's like putting a shotgun to the head of history! Why doesn't the country/state or whatever it's called not save the history of these places? At least the stuff inside. I think I'd rather someone take the stuff and use it and treasure it, then to be left to rot.

I watched a similar video from EXPLOMO. The boys felt so bad after seeing a couple of rooms trashed ( the lady owner died ) that out of respect, the cleaned the rooms, put the clothes back into dresser, folded them, and put everything back into the room as to how they thought it should look. I thought that was a wonderful thing to do. I could only hope the rooms would not be trashed again. Kodak is coming back, to make Covid medicines.

In the USA the "curtain holder" at 9:50 in the video is called a valance. What an beautiful house!! What shame that all the antique furniture , art work and belongings were just left in the house....the stained glass window is spectacular as well as the bed in the master bed room... There are so many beds in the house..... IT seems a bit odd... Even though the huse had been abandon for about 20 years it is in relatively good shape with minimal decay... Hopefully this wonderful hpuse can be saved.... Thank you so much for another amazing video.... Keep healthy and safe in your travels!

My home is filled with antiques that I know came from places like the ones you explore. You wouldn’t be stealing or disrespecting anyone. The people who once lived on those homes would be honored to have wonderful people like you pass on their personal belongings on to antique stores or in ur own homes ❤️Please consider starting this process. I already commented on this, but I really need to say something. You say that the son was a criminal. But when the letter was read ,it was said that he was addicted to heroin. A person isn't a criminal because they have a disease. I am a former addict, but of pain pills. I am quite crippled and because of pain medication, I became addicted. It got really bad. Please don't judge someone else, you don't know about this person. He could say the same of you. That you are a criminal, because your in a house, that is NOT your own. Think about it.

Always sad to see old surroundings, once so full of life, left alone to the elements of time! You guys do such a great job of exploring and discussing the interesting points! The house would have doubled as his office and treatment rooms. Many beds could be for those very sick that needed looking after? The white benches in the main hall may have once been outside. An outdoor waiting room on sunny days? Sweet!
