The Blue House
There isn't much to say about this abandoned house, it was likely bought by a developer, it is not historically designated and so it will likely be demolished.
Originally a farmhouse likely built in the early 1900s, it contains a lot of its original features such as decorative moldings, large windows, pocket doors as well as an ornate front staircase which gives it an appropriate old world charm. It has seen some renovations over the years like many other homes with the kitchen being the only area that I did not particularly care for.
The person that owned the home in the 80s owned an upholstery business which explains the fabric covering the walls in a few of the rooms. The workshop would have been the used for this business as well.
Zoned for commercial use the property was last operated as a towing company and this is evidenced by seeing many vehicles parked on the property looking at the satellite view. There were at least three apartments on this property housed within two separate buildings, some had more leftovers than others.
This was a very enjoyable explore an I am happy to present you with both the photos as well as the video walkthrough!!
