Without your filming those wonderful older homes they would just totally dissapear like they never were ever buillt. What a well done job filming. If the homes could talk I bet they would say a quietly , "thank you for still showing that someone still cares about us one last time." Your filming of the older beauties here also make your viewers care & remember them. Thank you Paul for your careing and taking us on your walk-abouts.

This is without a doubt, one of my favorite videos that you have made, one of the reasons is because of the music that you use in the beginning of the video, as well as the beautiful old classic workmanship of the old homes. Awesome house. So much time and hard work went into building these houses. They still had an eye for detail in those days. And that garden, well i liked everything about this tour. The electrical outlets are they still the same now? 5:28 They look funny. I have some travel plugs cause here in Holland we have two round holes. I've seen the rectangular holes but these are not straight like in England, I have not seen a travel plug in the stores here for this one. I love the bathroom tiles that are built into the wall with a hook 4:31 or soapdish 4:40 and toilet roll holder. 4:25 They don't use those annymore, shame. Usually I watch the videos twice. (if they are good and they are :-) The first time all the way and the second time at my own pace to watch everything. So sorry when I write about the small details that seem obvious to someone else. @@urbexindigo5164 I had friends living in London and when I was there for the weekend they showed me a trick. The function of the bottom hole of the socket only allows the other two to open, so if I put a stick or something in the bottom, I can use a dutch narrow plug which is usually on chargers or toilet accessories without an adapter. Just a tip. :-) That does not apply to Australian sockets i think so i'll have to purchase that indeed. I thought the same thing about the locked room.

Hey Sandra thanks for watching! :-) But the even bigger disappointment is that I drove past this yesterday and the demolition has started and I captured some of it on film and all of the interiors including the fireplaces were not saved! They were just smashing down everything we saw in the video! It looks as though if the deadline is up its up and no time is spent salvaging.......I have seen plenty of other homes get the things salvaged so maybe this one was one of the unfortunate exceptions.......I wish they could just let them be restored and have talented craftsman like your brother details and reproduce the themes needed to do so! Bummer!!!! Been very hot here Sandra, but has cooled a bit and even rain today! Finally lol :-)

Huge house and I agree, dual purpose, a home and an eat-in venue of some sort. It's the most colourful house I've seen. As it turns out, a piece of land for one family becomes homes to many. That's what they call progress but I doubt we will look back on the current houses in 70 years' time and say wow, look at the craftsmanship. It's only MDF, pine and fibre cement mostly.

That kitchen with those pastel colors reminded me of a 1950’s ice cream shop, made me smile. Happy vibe in there. Bedroom closets seemed to be an afterthought in 1950’s homes. They were all generally very tiny or nonexistant. In the end, in this case, it’s interesting that some architects in the ‘50’s were nostalgic to bring back the good old days of the 1920’s.

Great find Paul! I liked the 2 next to it also. It makes me wonder if this home started as a family home and then sold to someone who added the tennis court, water features and the other building. The kitchen in pink and grey seems way to large for a normal house. But the small green cupboards seem more size appropriate. And the first area to enter. But it also seemed like it wasn't supposed to be there.... I liked the teal bathroom sink, it was so cute and the toilet. Odd to have to travel to the other side of the house just to go to the bathroom. The blue room seemed like a wardrobe room/closet, because that 1 door wouldn't hold anything! I really liked the curved rooms and ceilings. That one inlaid print on the ceiling was so cool. The fireplace was cool, the art deco surround was no match for its tiny counter part in the next room. The tiny fireplace bricks seemed odd with the high gloss. Great explore & glad there weren't any surprises in there!

Hey Wendy thanks for watching! One thing is for certian, this proprty is very unique!! Interesting layout inside, a bit of a maze too! I think the locked room was another bathroom? with the tub I think. Many cool features kept in place to preserve the 50`s feel. Glad I at least got one out of these 3 Wendy , cheers for watching :-)

Once again, awesome video! Man I love these beautiful vintage 50s homes! I'll so pay you to get those curtains! lol.. seriously though, I love them. Harder to find that stuff here in the U.S.A. That kitchen is SO kick ass! Man what I could do with that! Anyway, keep up the great work! Keep it classy!

Cheers for the support 2brokeguyz! :-) I love these old 50`s more and more now!!! Such a party and socially alive era!!! The curtains I will go back and look at in the video haha, may be worth asking about :-) The kitchen was MASSIVE and colorful, it was like a school training kitchen or for catering dinner parties??? Stay classy too ! Thanks :-)

Really beautiful place. I'm thinking maybe a country club or something before the end. Definitely a stately home at one time. Such a shame to see all 3 homes gone. At least you have documented the history before it's too late. I love that you respect the home and take care as you explore each one. So many others do not. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos! Cheers until next time Paul!

Thank you for saving something about this beautiful place. I think I would have to try and take them couple of tiles that were in the kitchen they were beautiful they are just going to destroy them anyway...thank you very much!!..Not really I wouldn't take what's not mine...I might go up to the people destroying the house and ask them about them...well anyway thank you for sharing your video and I would definitely say 50's !! Beautiful old house, that kitchen cabinets very unique, love the 50's art decor designs and the colors, the other two houses were beautiful too, they was loving home and huge land, sadly had been demolished by the developers, the new building modern but can't compared to the old house.

Hey Crazy Yank! haha . Mega bucks in the pocket for the owner, hope they make use of it lol. I will busy out Buddy Holly next 50`s home Ed you can count on it! :-0 You would have enjoyed the movie "American Graffiti" hey Ed, all about those mid to late fifties teenage times! I think the council may have had power to get that daycare center put there as public requirements. Still the owners have to be rewarded well for their property. The wall units were definitely a trippy rainbow effect haha, the kitchen was like an arena . Cheers for watching and supporting mate! :-)

Art Deco! Pedestal sinks are coming back. Now that’s a kitchen! You can sure tell when it was built. Upgraded of course. They might’ve just liked to cook? The doors are gorgeous! The whole house has a air of opulence. The fireplaces are fabulous. The white one is worth a large sum of money. Mother in laws quarters. Or a party room?

So interesting! I wonder if it was a private club with a dining area that the huge kitchen would have cooked for. The big room with the huge mirrors looks to have been for ballet lessons & maybe a weekly dance floor for couples. The grounds had to have been amazing in their day. Or like you mentionrd, maybe it hosted wedding receptions, private parties, etc.. thanks for a great tour & explore. What I wouldn't give for that size kitchen! Thx again! 😉👍
