I owned 2 S10'S, a 91 2.8 5 speed, and a 92 4.3 automatic. Both were great trucks, abused hard, and still ran well.

I bought an 89 S10 in 1990, I think it only had a few thousand miles on it when I bought it. It had the 4.3L with the 700R4. Great little truck, drove it for over 10 years. Miss that little truck.

I'm sorry he seems to now know where he's going he's not going through basic steps gas fuel and power not electronics backwards thinking. I was taught at a young age check power, fuel, spark afterwards what helps to produce power timing and ecu's.

No need to apologize for someone doing something different than you, it ran didn't it?

My stepdad had one of these, traded his 70s full size GMC for it. S10 had a cracked head so he ordered a rebuilt one, swapped it out and drove it for years after that before trading off fir a newer s10.

I have an 85 that came with a 4.3 automatic that I drove high school then my senior year I put a 383 with a 5speed in it and it still gets 25 mpg after 24 years. My dad had an 90 that was identical to this one but it was destroyed when my sister had a wreck she was fine not even a scratch even though she rolled it God was definitely looking out for her. I used the frame to put a 52 GMC 5 window on it with a 6.0 ls last year

@dustyrusty6840Ай бұрын
I had a 73 ford pinto 4 cyl that the belt broke. I used some rope to do a temporary fix. Heard while stationed in Germany, that a man ask a women for her hose to make a belt. What are your plans on all of these vehicles other than letting them rust and need to do a will it start again,to get them running would probably be easier.
