Scotty Kilmer is anti-engine washing but this Chrysler needed it bad. What a rocken sled! For a 70's malaise era stationwagon, the Chryslers hold their own.

The paint is Jasmine Yellow. Before using an orbital buffer, clay bar the paint and apply wax to the woodgrain.

This style of Chrysler Town & Country was produced as 1974 to 1977 models. Often these wagons pulled large travel trailers ... amazing considering unibody construction with no separate frame.

Watching again you doing those rips down the road remind me how bad things were in the 70s when big engine cars still had to follow mileage requirements. The tall gearing was almost stupid. I was a kid but remember mother's 73 Buick Estate wagon with 455. Those GM Quadrajets would sing like nobody's business but good lord that car could hardly get out of its own way until about 40 MPH. Same for a 76 Cutlass 350 with 2.41 rear gears. That puppy would almost hit the federal speed limit in first gear. Think it was good for 53 in first. Probably barely exceeding 5k RPM. So thankful those days are gone.

great vid! love these old land yachts, and have owned a few over the years, including a 72 Fury III grand sedan (god I miss that thing!). Glad that thing was hidden, as the body would've been scrapped for the 440 long ago. glad she's been saved and given a new lease on life. keep up the great work!

My aunt worked for the Lake Champlain ferries and had one of these along with a free ferry pass for her car and anyone in it. One summer 11 of us (6 adults, 5 kids) went to Ausable Chasm in it at least for the short hop from her house on Flynn Ave. in Burlington to the King Street ferry dock, and from Port Kent to the Chasm visitor center. Of course most of the grownups and all us kids got out on the boat! A year later she sold it for a new Ford Escort; the owner of the gas station she always used told her he had to let a guy go (because she was buying so much less gas).

I clear coated the factory vinyl woodgrain decal on my 86 AMC Eagle wagon. Other wipe on products just didn't last and didn't give enough protection. It's been more than a year since I had a body shop clear it and I have zero regrets. I have a video on my channel showing before & after.

I subscribed to your channel when you revealed the 73 Fury from the Great Texas Hoard. A little scary when it burned up part of the ignition circuit! I had thought that you must be shooting your content somewhere near my residence. I'm now sure having recognized some of the locations in this compilation. We're in the same county. I have a 1971 Fury Gran Coupe. Great to see you are keeping several of these classic C Bodies alive and driving! I think I've seen the Charger featured in one or more of your videos locally too.
