Yeah it was and is a wreck. I looked it over very carefully before I parted it out and there was no saving it every panel on the body was either rotted or badly dented. Extensive roof rot did it in. It's not worth saving.

@jonpaulschafer18713 жыл бұрын
On that 78 No power front disc brakes manual steering is it a Canadian car ? I'm curious of the VIN number I'm sure you probably heard of the Iraqi taxis there were like 15 thousand 1979 Malibu 4 doors that with 200 v6s along with RPO f41 sway bars the Iraqi government ordered for taxis and then they had problems with the Saginaw 3 speed shift linkages and they cancelled the orders on them several of them were sold to the Canadian public at a discount you're fortunate enough to get a scrap National in your future I think you'll find your 350 Super Sport El Camino I found mine by opening up a paper in 2002 the guy that owned it sold it 2 days before I got there for $501 so so I became his friend he was very depressed and wanted to drink himself to death he had many family problems which I helped him and gave him courage to work through it and after 2 weeks he told me where the car was and I went to that guy and offered in 1500 cash 2 months later he called me back and said you want the car come-and-get-it 1500 bucks he didn't tell me it had a blown head gasket and he said it's not a super sport course I'd done my homework and I knew it was After I pulled the gas tank I found the build sheet RPO z15 Super Sport there's more to the story after I got the car there was problems with the title and it got stuck in limbo for three months I had the car in my driveway but I didn't know if I would ever get it legally registered but in the end it worked out like you I'm very detailed about G bodies and because you're the type of person you are I believe that you will find another 350 SS 78 at a reasonable price I'm believing that for you after all look at your 79 Malibu 305 4 speed car I also regret selling with no engine my 1968 Nova Sport coupe center console bucket seats non SS 307 Powerglide with 273 gears it was a weird combination car with dog dish hubcaps hope I didn't text too much
