Abandoned Danny's Motel - As Seen In The Movie "Children Of The Living Dead". Enjoy a look at this old motel that closed within the last couple of years. This motel was used in the movie Children Of The Living Dead. This place also had a reputation of drawing some sketchy people around, unfortunately. At one point in time, Danny's Motel was being investigated by the FBI and Secret Service for a possibly meth lab operation due to a chemical smell. Turned out the suspected meth lab was actually a counterfeit money operation and was raided. Now it sits in ruins and slowly falls apart and was deemed unsafe for human occupation.

About a month or so after I posted the video, this motel was torn down. I go by it every time I go to Highland Crossing to film trains. Only thing that's left is the house that sat behind it.

from a news article i found it was said that the property was to get a gas station on it and the house was to be renovated. part of the original motel was to be turned into a payment building for the gas station. the article was from october 25th 2021. shame nothing has been done with it even way back then.
