Why would anyone want a pet then not try to save it, so many carried big dogs, cat carriers & cats on harnesses to keep them with their human families, even bird cages. It's so distressing as the videos of few years ago when Ukrainian soldiers took care of abandoned animals is being repeated, but when war ends who provides for the animals. Human's are responsible for the living creatures they look after, to abandon even in dire circumstances must be very distressing. Olena is a special lady whose heart is so kind & caring, pray she will be protected as she goes around feeding so many dogs & cats.

As sad as I feel for these animals left behind, most if these people were left with awful choices. Either stay and risk their whole family being killed because they couldn’t bring the dogs with them, or leave them behind. I’m not angry at the owners, I’m angry at the man who forced these people to make these horrible decisions. It’s not as simple as when you lose your house to a fire and you can move in with family or rent a place, their whole country is under attack.

Children and pets, their innocence seems so fragile in time of war. The still shot of the little boy holding his little dog so close to his face, he's in his fatigue pajamas, his combat knife toys on the window sill behind him - is so sweet and it gets me teary eyes. Thank you for rescuing Nikki from her uncertain fate and bringing her to her new family. Compassion and love are always reassuring, that's the gift you give to lost pets and willing adopters. You're admirable.

People from the ucrania are obligated to evacuete some people coud not take there dogs that does not mean they dont miss them or whant them the goverment did not let refugiados with pets get in to other countrys, it woud be better if this guys take notes of the street s the number of the houses try to reunite there pets with there owners.
