The angels in the wooden box at 2:14 are actually part of a candle chime. I had one just like it! It had 4 candles and when you lit them the heat caused the angels to spin on a spindle and the little wires hanging down touched other metal parts and made a delightful chiming sound.that’s only part of the whole thing. I love mine!

WOW That tiled stove is just gorgeous, When I was in my 30s (lol not last year lol) I went to stay a weekend at a friends new cabin in the mountains, he was so proud of his Swedish Kakelugn tiled stove. I think he designed the 5 room cabin around the stove lol. I remember that night going to bed and he only put 5 small 5" logs in and I was prepared to be frozen to death by morning hahaha but the fire was out but it was still putting out heat.It was so beautiful and had a square fire box at the bottom. I guess in my mind I was surprised to see it in this cabin. My friend paid a bit of money for his and for shipping, he found the stove when he went to Europe to holiday. The clean lines of the furniture is just gorgeous. The mid century beauty, simplicity and quality are just amazing. The tigerwood maple table probably was beyond gorgeous under the table cloth. The Phillips tv is early 1970s color tv I think ours was like that one LOL but my memory aint what it used to be lol. I remember watching the first episode of Seaaame Street, all the Mr Rogers Neighborhood and Captain Kangaroo on it growing up lol. Just think lol that used to be the "Large Screen" tv hahaha Phillips had been making TVs since the early 1950s. 8:58 That is a pump organ, you have to pump the black petals to move air over the pipes to produce the sound. They are so amazing and all of the stops are still there. WOW. The taxidermy hawk is so amazing. EVERYTHING in this room is all good quality, No penny pinching cheap stuff.

I love their wallpapers and the wallpaper and the lightning in the bedroom was very special. By the way, that cupboard with a sink is a "potty cabinet". The sink on top, and inside it you store the potty. A very useful and popular furniture before the water toilets and bathrooms became common in every household. On the Swedish countryside, many people got water toilets installed in the late 1960s and many country holiday cottages still hasn't got any "proper" bathroom.

I have not been as mind blown lately to discover that other people lived as I have been all of my life. It is something I never had thought about before but have now discovered so many things were parallel to my life. I love the really old places the most because they bring back childhood memories LOL I am not that old lol I am 58 but I think I am hyper memory on things in my life because I had lived in 12 different states by the time I had graduated high school. The unique style you say they had. That style is called the 70's. Orange was the 70's beige. Everyone had orange, bright yellow, harvest gold, avocado green, dark brown in their homes back then. I grew up in the 60's and 70's. They were very hip back then. Especially at their age to use those mod colors.

Made it on time for a change. The metal angels you found went on a Christmas decoration that was on top of the vintage radio. I had the same decoration: the angels acted as a chime. There are 4 spots for small candles, and when you lit the candles, the angels would move in a circular motion, the heat caused them to move. I know where the cat got the money from. It was a dealer in catnip 😂

Hi dear friend Maureno from fabulous team explomo, Wonderful introduction in a very good English! I admire your way of describing and introducing a new location. - Some parts of this house were beautiful to see, like that living room, which reminded me very much of the 1950-ies or 1960-ies. Of course the decay traces are already very dominant, but you managed so nicely to show the beauty behind the decay! - I especially loved that wonderful stove in the living room. - Of course all these many small decorative pieces were also nice to see. - I loved seeing the pump organ, which still looked functional. It is also called "Harmonium". But you do not only have to operate the pedals for pumping. Additionally you have to pull at least one of these levers, which are the registers of the organ, where you can create different sound effects in variant volumes, and then you can press the keys for a melody. - Some rooms really have a time capsule vibe in this traditional Swedish house. What an other amazing explore in Sweden! - Thank you for taking us viewers through this cozy cottage and telling the background story of the former owners. Very interesting to see and to listen to you, dear bro! Wishing you all the best, stay safe, peace and kindest regards from sunny Switzerland. Say also please heyy to Lesley as well and wishing you both much love and fun on your phantastic trip!

Hi Maureno and friends of Explomo, don't take what I'm going to say badly. The urbex is often sad, with all these memories, these people gone, but since you visit Sweden, I am even sadder! I can't imagine living in the middle of winter in these isolated, now abandoned places. For me, this is not "fairy tales", I do not feel happy life in these houses that are all similar in their sadness. But I hope that people have lived there happily, that these homes have had a joyful soul, but I don't have that feeling. I'm sorry to say that, but I can't wait for you to change places. In any case, thumb up anyway for good work always as respectful. Charles, from France.
