What a difference a thorough scrub can make! It looks great now. Hopefully the sunroof didn't leak, too. It's a great starting point for a mechanical and cosmetic restoration. And there's something beautiful about watching you work, not in a weird way. Like watching a ballet dancer, I don't know how to describe it.

It seems people in the comments are wanting to correct you. All I have to say is you did a fantastic job with this. Also, not every KZbin channel has the budget, time, and staff to be able to do your typical “perfect” restoration or detail of a car, yet people often expect that of every channel they find on KZbin. What I see is a guy who absolutely loves what he’s doing, and is doing a wonderful job at it without having the massive budget and team behind him to do everything for him.

best car ever may buy Toyota
@ArturStone3 күн бұрын
Yes, Toyota, especially the models before 2000, really made some legendary cars. The 1UZ-FE engine, for example, was limited in power due to regulations, but engineers designed it in a way that made it easy to modify after release. With simple upgrades like turbocharging, you could easily push it past 400 horsepower, and some builds have reached 700 horsepower or more. This is one of the reasons why these cars are still highly valued today.
