Hi great video. I wouldn't adjust the governor to make it run faster, that will only wear the engine out quicker. They are only meant to do around 3600rpm. I reckon their is something else,,,,possibly change the pulleys running the blower. Also on the idler pulley front, you can drill out where they are spot welded together and then just change the bearing and rivet it back together. Just make an alignment mark so you get it lined up right. Much cheaper.

I just put a plow on the front of my 4 wheeler but the snow never stays around long enough to try it. It's been pretty warm here and in the 60s and 70s here and there

You might be able to add rubber flaps to the impeller also, aka the impeller mod. That plus throttle will throw snow a lot further

for angle drive gear boxes and snowblower worms i like to pump in a bit of 80/90 weight oil and then drill a hole and install a grease fitting to top them off with low temperature grease....never had one go bad yet

also i recommend v-bar chains...front and back.....then after verifying engine speed swap in a taller chute and close up the impeller gap (or repair the impeller if its damaged)....if tthat doesnt help throwing distances then install a smaller driven pulley and shorter belt to get the impeller spinning faster

hi, nice video, the short throwing of snow might be due to slipping belt or too much clearance around the phase 2 in the back of blower. Check these out for better performance,,, good day to you

You can use 00 grease for the front and 90 degree gearbox probably, its like super thick gear oil.

Yeah pretty much! I "fix and flip" mostly everything I get. I keep some of the cooler machines though
