I always enjoy your videos. Your exploits are the topic of conversation around the dinner table.

Well, I am glad you enjoy them. I hope they’re entertaining and educational both. And I’m sure that over the years I’ve been the topic of conversations at more than one person’s dinner table lol.

Your stories are of great interest. Wife and I are in a similar situation as you. We've taken a slightly different path but are intrigued about your choices and direction. @@safarijoesadventures

Your property is looking really good. It's looking much different and better than when you bought it last year. Todd from da U.P.

Thank you Todd. I have been up there three times this year and worked one full week each time just about Sun up until sundown except this last time my wife went up so we did a little vacationing. But my goal for this year was to get a bunch of the scrub trees and bushes cut out That have overgrown the place. widen the driveway and get it raised so it wasn’t a mud hole. And get the canopy of the trees cut out of the way in the driveway. Also build a pad for a Connex to put my tools in so I would be ready to work on the cabin next spring. I got it all done and for that I am thankful. The Connex will be delivered and set on the pad the first part of next week so it will be there when I get there in the spring to start working. Thanks for the encouragement.😎

Great video! I love to see the progress you've made. Can't wait to come up and check it out for ourselves!

We would love to have you guys come up and check it out. It’s amazing how much I’ve got done in four 1 week working trips. Especially when you throw in a little vacationing in each one of them. The Connex will be delivered next week. Then we will have Basically an 8 x 20 steel garage and workshop to hold our tools so we don’t have to keep taking them back-and-forth. In the spring I’m going to start raising the cabin so I can replace the floor joist and flooring with proper size. Right now it has 2 x 4 joist and it’s like walking on a boxing ring. I will go with 2 x 8 joist that have footers at the proper span.

@@safarijoesadventures that sounds great. Are you lining the connex container with any insulation? Maybe foam board?

Eventually, yes.

How did you cart all the fuel for the vehicles?
@safarijoesadventures11 ай бұрын
I use that Tractor two days for a total of about 12 hours. And it only used about 8 gallons of fuel. I have about four gas cans up there. One for regular gas. One for premixed gas for chainsaws and weedeaters. And I keep a couple of empty ones in case I need to get diesel or more gas for something.

@@safarijoesadventures Is the stop far from civilization? Looks pretty remote.
@safarijoesadventures11 ай бұрын
@@loudmouthnewyorker2803 there is a small town about 15 miles from my cabin. I got to drive about 8 miles out and old sand Road and the rest is pavement. They do have a couple of small gas stations there and one of them has diesel.
