Fun fact. The Sheraton Crescent was built in 1986 by the notorious Charles Keating. The small building in the parking lot was a bar called Charley Charlie's back in the day. Keating also developed The Phoenician in 1987, and Estrella housing community in 1990. The man was a crook, but had good taste in property development....

So much crazy urban blight! Surprised to see that Sheraton (a real I-17 landmark) abandoned. Also surprised it’s gonna be reopened; and therefore surely “updated”?! But that’s good news I guess. When you grew up in AZ in the 70’s and 80’s it’s crazy to see how things have changed and decline…Always great to see what you’re up to.

Oh my god I've been to the Sheraton I've been to the Fuddruckers been to Kmart I didn't know Northern was closed down like that so bad so sad thank you I really love watching it❤❤❤❤

Great video. In my city there is a walmart thats been closed since around 2003ish and its never been bought or reopened after they built the replacement. Its weird seeing it every day and having distinct memories of going inside as a kid in the 90s and early 2000s and making a bee line to electronics to stare at that monolithic collage of video games behind the glass. It would be so weird to go inside and try to find that exact spot. The Walmart even had a Radio Grill, a little 50s themed food court thing were you could get iccees and corndogs that are probably way worse than I remember.

Great memories. I dunno, the icees and stuff I think used to genuinely taste better haha. Unless we all are misremembering things. That’s cool it’s still unchanged, sad it’s abandoned though.

Not currently, I’ve looked around there tons of times and there’s no good options. There’s a lot of security there as well. We do have a video on the channel of us going into Metro when it was still open so feel free to check that out. But who knows maybe I’ll go inside Metrocenter again in the future if an opportunity presents itself. Very unlikely, but we’ll see.
