Abandoned Kubota L285 Tractor ColdStart

So we have drove right past this tractor many times and I never even noticed it. Ronnie brought it my attention that it was there, and if we would come down and make an attempt to get it running. although it wasn't much of a challenge, it sure made a fun friday afternoon video ! Now that was a heck of a deal Jay! WOW! Do suggest before using though - would change all the fluids filters as it would suck to have something get sucked in somewhere and wreck the motor/hydraulic pump or otherwise. Changing fluids and filters is far cheaper than the alternatives..... Noticed it looks like in the beginning you are driving a newer Ranger w/manual? Love those as long as if it is the 4.0 dated before 2000 when they messed up the 4.0 engines.

Yea she needs a thorough cleaning and some maintenance, but my first task was just to get the machine going.. maybe once it proves it can work reliably a bit then we will get to the rest of it!

For a moment there Jay was button push in switch flipping heaven.😁 when I was a kid Jay I caught a jar halve full of those spiders then brought in the house to show my mother. And that didn’t end well after hearing the scream heard around the world 🤕 How did I know she was scared to death of spiders 🤔 but in the end I did let the spiders go and I learned something new you get an ass whooping if you bring spiders in the house.😁

If Mr. Mantis had decided to attack Mr. Spider, it would not have ended well for him. Mr. Mantis, I mean. Those spiders (it's a garden spider) attack with web like you've never seen. He would have had Mr. Mantis wrapped up like a mummy in no time. BIG ORANGE....that looks like an 80s model Kubota to me. Maybe 86, 87. Somewhere in there.

I went to and he/she tucked up behind the air cleaner where I couldn’t reach, then crawled around the starter and by the time Dylan said something they were crawling up again, eventually she fell into the tall grass and was gone. Fingers crossed they made it out alright !
