Quick note (since I'm sure someone will ask, and we don't mention it in this video): yes, Jarrett won the best Wedding Photographer award for the third year in a row, all thanks to you guys! Thanks for being awesome and supporting him again. He'll be going full-time with his photography business this year, while also working on this Abandoned: Myrtle Beach side project. Be awesome and "Like" the Facebook pages in the description to continue following this project to completion. As always, thanks for being the best community on KZbin, hands-down.

I went to Myrtle Beach with my family in February for a few years back in the early 2000's when my dad was into running marathons. It was always kind of cool (and kind of eerie) to walk the beach and see all of the rides and shops closed up.

I hope Jarrett's project becomes as amazing as he so desires. I am intrigued to see Myrtle Beach without its populous in tact. Despite being put down a few times, it's a cool idea for sure. THEY JUST DON'T EVEN ART.

That Bowery bar place, I visited there when I was in Myrtle Beach. The whole boardwalk area that was covered was really incredible.

You and your friends are amazing. This is powerful as well as beautiful. You, as well as your friends, have already accomplished so much in life. It kind of makes me feel like a failure since I am the same age. But don't worry it is also inspiring!

That sounds like a very interesting project. I can imagine why people have been very resistant to showing their attractions without it's make-up but whatever you can show would be very cool. You never really get to see tourist areas in their dead seasons unless you live there or purposefully go in that time.

Pretty!! I've actually been thinking ever since I found the vlog that Myrtle Beach would be a really pretty place to visit in the winter or fall. It's warmer than where I'm at, the crowds would be gone, it'd be nice and windy and peaceful with a view of the sea. I know, I'm weird. ^_^ Cool project Jarrett!

This relates to the end of the vlog where everyone is like shall we? And then I hear the maybe and my heart just drops. Because the fact that you say "Let's meet back tomorrow, shall we?" Tells me that you're expecting us back and that we should expect you back in another video. Death is something that scares me because it can happen anytime. But the fact that you say, "let's meet back tomorrow shall we?" Tells me that you and I will be alive tomorrow.

***** No it's fine, really! But I just kinda wish that Stephen's catchphrase would never change because of the meaning I get from it. I totally understand that it was a joke and it was funny but just the fact that I could never see someone again makes me sad!

Hi, I’m counting the total number of places where they have eaten out in the Vlog. This includes fast food, restaurants, fine dining, and Bojangles. Places eaten on the vlog in 2015: This Vlog: Chris' Pizza: 1 This month: Chipotle: 2 Waffle House: 1 Unknown location(Bakery): 1 Carrabba's: 1 Hotel Breakfast: 1 Jason's Deli: 1 Blue Asia Bistro: 1 Hops Supply Co: 1 Chris' Pizza: 1 January total: 10 Year Total: 10 Note: This count only includes what food was eaten out in the Vlog. Stephen doesn’t show every meal eaten a year. This is also purely for fun.

Wow, I didn't think you the type to do videos on abandoned places! OwO Also, since my birthday is February 27th, and we are both South Carolinian KZbinrs, it'd be an amazing birthday present if the Vlog for that day involved you coming down here to Charleston to pay me a visit, just saying.

I am a little surprised you guys don't get many tourists in Myrtle Beach in the winter. I would think people from the north would want to travel south for a while to find warmer temperatures. Is Myrtle Beach not south enough or warm enough in winter for northerners? I kind of like seeing images of amusement parks which still stand but are not attended (although some of those images creep me out, like Six Flags New Orleans), so this sounds pretty cool to me. However, if people still come to Myrtle Beach each year, I'm not as sure this will have the same impact. Still, I want to see this project. Tell Jarrett "Good luck".
@CommanderClyde9 жыл бұрын
Well I live further south than Myrtle Beach and its even colder where I am. Although in Texas we have strange weather at times, its got a huge temperature difference between winter and summer.
