There used to be a Perkins near my hometown, but it shut down after it caught on fire. I guess their insurance didn't want to pay for it to be renovated because it was the second time it caught on fire. It's a Raising Cane's now. I still got my Perkins fix at Cedar Point, though I stopped going for a few years after their food made me throw up.

There is an open Perkins on Rt 46 in Austintown just north on I-80. We go there all the time. There is also an open Perkins on Conneaut Lake Road in Meadville PA. It was the flagship Perkins in the area.

There are a few Perkins in the area that have become Mama Jane’s Eatery, like the one in New Castle, PA. There are still some open Perkins in Boardman, Niles, and Warren, Ohio. And also in Meadville, Clarion, and Erie, PA.

Hey there WallieB26 one thing about the restaurant is that the outside of it just screams old school Dairy Queen even though it was a Perkins and I wouldn't be surprised if this was an old school Dairy Queen back in the day before it became a Perkins restaurant

There's a toilet seat? I didn't see one. I think Perkins was one of the first places I ate out at in the US. Don't remember if it was Canfield or Boardman or a different one in the area. I really loved Boston Market though.

I worked at the Perkins in colerain, Eastgate and Mason Ohio. The one in Mason is still open but it's like the only one left lol

I am with you on the Perkins sighn. Don't know what I would do with it. Probably put in our front yard just because I can. lol I want that round table to use for my kitchen table. lol You aways find the best abandoned places. Got me wanting to look up and expore in my area. Cambridge Ohio. You did the KMart years ago. It's now a Rural king, Marshalls and Bealls.

I really liked that Perkins location years ago it was a nice restaurant. The signage from the Dairy Queen could possibly be from the one that used to be open on Belmont Ave. In Liberty?? That Dairy Queen location has been up for sale, and to my knowledge hasn't been sold. It's been closed now for years.

I think they are from the Columbiana DQ, which closed a few years back. There was briefly a rumor of the Canfield Dairy Queen moving here as a hot food and ice cream place but that was a while back.

Just to let you know there's Perkins all over Ohio. There's 4 in Youngstown, there's 2 in West Virginia. And from erie to meedville there's four opened This and there is one in olene new york Company out of Pennsylvania owns everything. We have one at Middleburg Heights 2 in Cleveland.

This is where I live. Canfield is a "richy rich" area. If they haven't done anything yet, they won't because they'll have done it further up the road. If you continue down 224 toward Boardman you'll find a still operating Perkins.

We use to go Perkins restaurant in Venice Florida but my parents didn't like the food much because I don't know if it was not cooked well or not. My mom used to have grandparents that lived in Florida but unfortunately my mom grandmother died before her 90th birthday because of her not taking any medication and that's why she went down hill.

The last Perkins Restaurant in Columbus, Ohio on Hilliard Rome Road on the far west side of Columbus was permanently closed in late 2022. There is a Perkins Restaurant an hour's drive North of Columbus in Marion, Ohio that is still open.
