I had a Staffordshire bull terrier, and she was the sweetest dog and not just my opinion. Everywhere I went people would just melt when they seen her face. Her name was Coco and I am grateful to God for allowing me to be the parent/Dad of Coco for 12 years! She will always be part of my soul ❤

I have a dog like that. Everyone is just drawn to her. Very few people can pass her by without engaging with her. The funny part is that I’m not very likable for most folks. So most of the people that want to say hi to her visibly go through the awkward dilemma of talking to me so they can meet my little doggy. They can’t resist her cuteness and she relishes the attention.

you should consider rehoming one sadly theres thousands of staffys needing a home since people like to get them as puppy and are to stupid and lazy to train them.

Bullies are wonderful dogs. I always had English bull terriers. As well as other dogs. But the bullies are clowns and so loving. Not at all like their bad reputation.

It’s the stigma that ignorant people give to bull-dog/pit bulls that harm their reputation, when in actual fact Staffies are one of the most loyal and trainable breeds out-there.

@@Mr_Linka I have had 6 English bull terriers through the years and they have been the best dogs I’ve had. I also had various other different breeds of terriers. Always ones that were not wanted by their original owners. Terriers are wonderful dogs. But any bully is definitely on a different level. They really do deserve the nickname clowns in dog suits.

People get terriers because they just look at how small they are and don’t realise that they need a special type of owner. I love all terriers because of their personalities and tenacity.

I have a pure bred yorkie that was found on a hiking trail tied to a tree mouth taped and I’ve had him 12 years now

My staffie loved everybody, and tried to play with every animal she met, including cats and even ducks. Most of all she loved people though. Amazing dogs. High energy though, and needs a lot of physical and mental stimulation. I was amazed how smart mine was and how fast she learnt. I wish people stopped picking dogs based on looks and did the investigation first. Very few need a sheepherder or a hunting dog in the city.

Staffies are the best!! Had two in my life and they were sweetest angels! Cali and Joy were true best friends for our family and I hope they are happy and playing together over the rainbow with my dad. Will love and miss them till my last breath 💚

I adopted the cutest 8 week old Jack mix from a humane society in Florida. They said she had been dropped off at a rest stop on 95. I was like, no, who would do that to a puppy? It must have gotten away from someone. The receptionist said They do it all the time. What jerks. Our little Cookie gave us 15 years of love and laughs. Such a smart girl. Will love her to my dying day.

Yes, the music is drowning out the words in some sections. If I raise the volume to hear the words, the music hurts my ears. When the barking in the kennel was added, I turned it off.

What monsters who abandon a wee innocent puppy. The UK Animal shelter l am most familiar with is Battersea thanks to the late great Paul O'Grady and CBC airing it here for many years now. Boomer and Billy are very happy together. I hope adorable Boomer now has his loving kind furever family.🤗♥️☘️🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦🕊

Jack Russels are the best. ❤ We have a CoJack(50/50 Corgi/Jack Russel Mix). Shw will turn 15 this year but still is a bag of beans. She rules the household incl. our 2 Rottweilers who adore and protect her. When we are at the dog park and another dog plays to rough with her both Rottis jumping in to adress the situation. We got her from a rescue like the Rottis. When we introduce her to our Vet she couldnt believe the age. She is in such good shape. Boomers next owner(hopefuly his pawever home) should consider himself lucky. Such a sweety.

Our home always has two rescue Staffys and we foster pound puppies. The old staffies are amazing with the puppies teaching them manners and routine. But when the play pen gets put up with the puppy pads they sook on the couch…. Not again we know what’s coming and ignore the puppies in the car….then the first sit for treat games are played and everyone’s besties!

well socialised staffys are great for puppys they have high pain tolerance so they can withstand being bitten ect and they tend to have good temperments

My first puppy was a beautiful jack russel just like Boomer, they could've been twins. I had to aband9n my little buddy when my mom broke up with her then boyfriend and I never forgot. Only got to bond with Rakki for about 6 months 😥

I know that purebred dogs and pups are often abandoned but this puppy looks to be in great condition for one that’s been fending for himself on the streets. This video feels more like a story than a documentary of a true situation.

Puppy will have been vaccinated Im sure before he is fostered. I used to foster for a charity. They paid for food and all vetinary care. When dogs are adopted the costs are recouped. Not sure by how much tho. I just fostered pups and kittens .

People dump their dogs after keeping them for 12 years. People mistreat and don't properly care for well-bred dogs just because they liked the breed for their looks, but didn't match the breed to their lifestyle. People buy dogs like accessories rather than a member of their family. Any dog, any breed, can and have been abandoned. They don't need to make anything up.

In a family setting? No. Never. There’d have to be medical or mental health problems. Dogs can recognize conspecifics regardless of size if raised together. Ive had great danes with chihuahuas and currently have deckers with catahoulas (25-40lbs vs 70-95lbs) Little terries often work on farms with gigantic sheepdogs the weight difference can be more than 100lbs and it worked so well people still do it
