What a beautiful place. I wonder what happened to this family. Why would a family with children just walk away from their home and all of their belongings? It seems that a tragedy must have occurred. If any of the children are still alive somewhere they would be getting up in age themselves now. Perhaps in their 50's or somewhere around that age.

4:50 my grandma accidentally sewed her top part of her pointer finger off, by an old school singer sewing machine. She was just sewing, and it happened so fast. She just picked up her finger, and wrapped it up in her hanker chief. Took it to the local dr, who was also a vet. And he sewed it back on. The finger did take and it was great to see in person. But she never got feeling in that part of her finger again though. Those old petal singer sewing machine are like tanks. They just keep on working. Imagine your calf’s from using the sewing machine. It would be like a crazy calf work out. They really knew how to make things to last back. Everything was made from cast iron. I really want one, I think it would be awesome in a sitting room, as part of decoration too💖 Thank you for love of urban exploring and your extreme appreciation for all things in the past. Such great respect for your channel. Keep sharing that love💖. With 💖 from 🇨🇦

Hi Lesley and Jordy! A little info you might be interested in: As I have told you in past emails I am a "fast car lover" and we still own some hotrods and show cars and bikes. If you will go back and look at 1:22 to 1:23 you will see that silver toy corvette that you touched is what we call a C6 (sixth generation body style). The C6 was produced between 2005 and 2013. So, either some kids have been recently playing there or someone has left some modern toys for the ghosts of children who once lived there or the scene has been staged by other explorers. As a few other commenters noticed to that most of those toys are too new and have no dust or decay on them. However, I am truly fascinated by this explore and would love to know the story of what happened to the family. I fear it was something tragic. I love you guys and hope your father is getting stronger every day. It is hotter than Hades here is Mississippi! Thank God for air conditioning! Hugs and kisses all around! Love, Lily

What a beautiful home, and the furniture is stunning. I love your excitement at finding old maps and magazines, like these things from the past are rare and exotic treasures. As, of course they are. I remember having to learn to write with a dip pen, then a fountain pen before we were allowed to use the new ballpoints that had just been invented. They weren’t permitted at school until I was in grade six. That package with the spiral on front is a repellent that is burned like an incense to keep away mosquitoes. I think you can still buy it today with citronella oil in it. This was just lovely, thank you...and please stay safe out there.🖤🇨🇦

I love attics and have always wanted my bedroom in an attic but never had a house with one in it. Maps are what I want in my house. Old ones to frame. I love history. that room with the hamster cage in it could have been a maids room or a farm helper. just guessing. The library was fantastic to see. Great video thanks for bringing it to us.

Old places are very sad. Places that housed old generations of people. Family tree lines that ether keep going for all eternity, or end forever. A wonderful house full of stuff left to wither away with nature could have been resurrected by family members, but it's ether the whole family tree had died, and no one left to be there, or the family members forgot, or didn't care. Any way life turns it, it's always sad, and beautiful. (I tried to talk as poetic as possible.)

Stunning. Btw you're holding some spirals, to keep mosquitoes away, you lit them on fire and they would create some smoke :) We used to use them in my childhood home. But what is even more frightening, the box to the left of it, is rat poison. Then you didn't have, so many restrictions on poison, if you had a farm. Oh and the green box to the right is stomach meds against acid. Last box to the right, is for children if they had running stomach :) It's a coal heather, we had one like it. Wonderful video

I think it'd be very interesting if you could find out and explain why these houses are left to rot. Surely, the neighbours must know the story. There must have been a lot of kids in this family, none of them took an interest in the house? How weird..

Thank you aso much for this tour of French history, I really enjoyed the different ways of this video. I want to especially tell you how refreshing it is to watch your videos, there is so much mean and hateful things on you tube. You boys however are kind and loving to your audience.

I love these old abandoned french homes. My granny was french, and these houses always look like her house. The wallpaper, the way things are arranged. Beautiful, delicate, timeless. Also love Bros of Decay♡

😟 Hey folks, look at frame 4:41 at the reflection of the hat in the mirror. Next to tip of the hat rim, on your left. YOU WILL SEE A REFLECTION OF A MAN WITH A SUIT AND TIE!! It's underneath the thumb, of the person touching the hat!!! This is indeed CREEPY!
