What an amazing find! The “ handbag” hanging beside the cane was a ladies muffler. It was hung around the neck and she would put her hands in each side to keep them warm. Sometimes called a muff.

That makes sense, I didn't actually grab it or I probably would've been more confused haha. Thanks for the info and for watching our video!

Absolutely LOVE time capsules!! I feel like they are so special!! Especially when they aren't vandalized and ruined. Thr wallpaper on the ceiling was AMAZING!!!!!!❤❤❤ also...the sink in the bedrooms....for us, folks from the USA it seem weird bc we don't really do that, however overseas (especially Euro countries) they always have them. Just the way they operated. Idk why, it just is the way it was. 😊

Haha yea I learned that quickly on this trip. This house was filmed on day 2 of 17. By day 4 we explored 10 + houses and they all had sinks in the bed rooms. Glad you liked this video. Thank you for the support 🙌

What a beautiful Chateaux, could you imagine buying that place and restoring it ? You would already have all of the furnishings.

I really enjoyed this video I believe that the little room with the exercise bike is a lady's dressing room. They had separate rooms where they would get dressed and get ready for the day. It was very trippy to see so many bedrooms that had sinks in them.
@abandonedcentral8 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing!! I bet you're correct and that was a dressing room. Glad you enjoyed this video Lisa!

00:29 above the words poison is opium and that looks like dried opium in there. Looks like maybe somebody in the family was smoking or eating it. The box also says Pharmacie Specials Veterinaire. I'm not sure that last word sounds like it might be actually for an animal.

It truly amazes me how much time and hard work that people use to put into these old homes/buildings.. especially with none of the modern conveniences that we have today.. and yet, as a people today, we take shortcuts and dont have the respect for shit.. that house has some good bones and imo, some treasures worth something. Houses/buildings built today dont even compare to the craftsmanship of homes such as these.. Btw, do you ever get to keep any of the cool things that you find?? Very cool! 🤘

What i like about places like this is no one tags them or destroys them. These should be museums...love it!!

At 8:56 what is that white thing that drops down on the right side of the screen? When you pause it it actually looks like it's a smoke ring.

I like that the evolution of indoor plumbing is evident in the place, and it was ibvious that electricity was an afterthought in some of the rooms, but they had the means to hide wiring and saw the becessity in others Its a really elegant place and this one if the ecplorations ive seen that let me know I'd have likevto ve acquainted with the redidents- thank you!
