I find the saddest thing about these abandoned homes is the family photos just left there & forgotten 😢 I don't understand why none of the children wouldn't want to keep those memories 😑

Most children have copies of all the photos. Back in the day we would make doubles and triples of pictures to share with grandparents, cousins, parents etc

I know. I have a box of photos that were handed down to me. Apart from a few I think most will end up at the recycle centre when I'm gone. Even I have scanned many of the pictures and stored them on my phone. It's the amount of stuff in this house including the stamp collection which is worth money. Puzzling.

Nah. They are free of their bodies, no more pain, no more suffering. They are probably at peace with loves ones and not giving a second thought about a bunch of stuff they no longer need anyway, let alone worrying about who is or isn't looking through it.

This bungalow is now up for sale on Rightmove. It’s been emptied and tidied up, the leaking roof had been boarded up etc. Obviously it was in probate after the owner died, rather than abandoned. Will be a lovely home for someone I’m sure. It has loads of potential.

Maybe there were no remaining family members, if she was found dead in the house, no one was looking after her, except maybe neighbors, the house may be stuck in probate, maybe there was no will.

Also- American probate is a nightmare- but I am pretty sure UK is even worse. Then, there's the taxes- much harder to navigate and deal with both legal issues in UK than here in US- which aren't ez- but even more costly & time consuming there! I also find the personal effects heartbreaking- but so thankful that Adam & crew are as respectful and decent as they are!❤

This is a 'wow' house for sure! Cannot believe the children or family didn't go in and take out all those wonderful items. I have an actress friend find that is probably in one of more of the Star Tracks magazines. Those stamps; my goodness!! Thank you, Adam, for taking us along!! Oh, the spot on the sofa is from where the lady's body released fluid. That happens.

@tamzcountrylife They obviously never knew how old stamps can be worth an awful lot of money. When one of my uncles passed away in 2005 one of his daughters asked me if I wanted his stamp collection. I had seen his collection many times and it was impressive, part of me wanted to say to her "Your dad's stamp collection is worth a lot of money". Instead I just said to her " Thank you Janet i will come round tomorrow evening to collect them".

The mark of the head on the sofa could have been hair dye as my Granda's chair had this with the brylcream he used .Loved the pic of the Male Lion .Sobering thought that this house is left to wreck and ruin and past memories are all coming to an end. Great time capsule Adam. 😊 xxx

I feel sad that she's gone, I don't know why the family cleaned up the house and organized the family pictures. It's a shame, I lost my mom and I cleaned up her house but the house was in good condition.

What a beautiful bungalow, reminds me very much of my Aunts bungalow,she is 91 & lives there on her own too. 4 years is a short time Adam for that much decay to set in. It looked like a very well kept home. That lady had great taste. So so sad. I hope this bungalow doesn't get trashed. I can't imagine this lady would ever have thought she would die alone & her home would be left abandoned like this. It use to be a family home, should be again. Thanks Adam. ❤❤❤😢

I find it hard to believe that decay has happened in just 4 years in a modern house and it makes you wonder if she already had problems but nobody was around to help. I just don't understand how houses get like this so quickly....they don't when you are living in them and it's not like you are up fixing the roof every 5 minutes. Very odd and sad.

I thought that too. The property looked like it had been built in the 80s or 90s, so the level of damage in just four years is shocking. However it did look as though she had already let things slide and the property was being neglected long before she died, perhaps because she was too frail to cope anymore. And all it takes is a couple of tiles on the roof blown out of place to soon cause some nasty issues. It's very sad. 🫤

I've seen this so many times in abandoned properties, it's almost like the house gives up. The fact they aren't being heated or ventilated probably doesn't help.

Cold,damp and wet environment of the UK leaves homes pretty exposed, especially if the heating is not on and there is little ventilation. You'd be surprised how quick a tiny undetected leak can quickly turn into what you see in the video.

9:49 - I believe the kitty is called a “tuxedo cat” (the black & white), but I’m not sure if there’s another proper name for them. Calico kitties are the black/brown/orange/tan mix and the colors are blended in a pattern almost. I love cats so I had to share 😊

This was a beautiful home in the past, the owners were well educated and financially well off. The amount of Crystal, Deflt pottery, plus spode china says money. The dining room table had been set up by someone obviously, I would say the lady of the house was of a good age when she passed judging by the marriage certificate. Sad but when you really think of it she was in her own home, surrounded by memories and just drifted away and now at peace. Thank you Adam 💕🇦🇺

Probably an estate dispute. Family can't touch or remove anything until it's settled. The solicitor should have keys to check the property though.

That roof was in need of repair before the loss of the owner by the looks of how fast the ceiling is falling down & mold damage. Such a Sad story, however i truly don't think they were on that couch after passing, or it would've been 100x worse!! Believe me, my son told me of how a bed looked, & it was less than a week!! Heartbreaking, that was such a nice home at one time. 💔 Great find Adam!! 👏
