I’d be down to see a “People Of LZMFG” or “LZMFG Employee Projects” KZbin channel on the side, where they do the employee’s cars. Kind of like the way the DriftHQ channel works. There’s lots of LZ Compound shenanigans, but it focuses on DriftHQ projects. Hoonigan has like 10 different channels that started with daily transmission. I’m sure everyone at LZMFG could pull off a second channel for cars that don’t belong to Adam.

Not gonna lie, I’m really glad that the 4 rotor build isn’t really coming to light. The FD you have is WAY too clean to be messed with, though I am glad you’re keeping the 13B and doing light mods. I’m so pumped the 4 rotor is being put in the A90, that’s a super cool and unique build idea and I’m stoked to see it happen!

@@Lowcoupe Doesn't really seem like a mistake in choosing not to destroy a clean FD Rx7. I mean I'm not one of those assholes who loves garage queens or anything but it's always nice to keep a clean, unmolested car, "clean" rather than tearing it apart. If the FD had been crashed or it didn't have an interior or drivetrain or something like that it probably would be a lot easier to just say "Yeah four-rotor that bi-", but this way he's going to keep the usability of that car while still upgrading it and making it better, and in doing so he's going to give a new life to that Supra. I mean there's a difference between tastefully modding a car/turning a car into a track only car/and garage queening* it, IMO Adam made not only a very good decision but a very mature decision in not gutting that FD.

Glad this happened. FDs are such incredible cars stock, its always a shame when someone destroys one by completely removing everything that makes it what it is. Curious if Tommy helped talk him out of it since he was also planning on swapping his dream FD with an NA 3 rotor and decided against. Fyeah builds have a way of convincing !

@@john-ll7xn true but keeping the stock engine and just improving on that is going to be kinder to the car as whole seeing as they won’t have to do any fab work or body kits or anything. Tasteful and slightly understated is honestly a really nice way to modify a car (especially one that’s as beautiful as an FD from the Get-go) and I wish more people would do take that approach, and I’m definitely glad to see Adam taking it. That’s just my opinion tho 🤷.

I don't think it would destroy the car. The Devil Z real red one or anime one are masterpieces and make use of the awesome aerodynamic platform. I would love a 4rotor NA FD. That rapid response of such engine and the sound is just lovely 😍

I think that is a great idea. OEM++ the FD and enjoy it as intended. The 4 rotor a90 is an awesome idea. You should leave the interior in it, don't full racecar it yet. The best part of the Barra Mustang is it is so "raw" but yet a completely passable street car - I think the same idea with the 4 rotor a90 would be awesome.

I absolutely love adam's way of building cars. where he gets damaged cars like the jz and the s15 and makes them really pretty but race car af at the same time no guilt in damaging them cuz of their state prior to being built. and when he gets something really clean he sticks to the cars roots but sprinkles his personal touch to it. most tasteful building ever. edit: im hyped to seeing a 4 rotor mk5 supra! and would love to see employee videos and updates on their cars and builds. atleast you know where to get some content from days youre not feeling content. lol

Nah, NA Peripheral Port rotaries are just awful in any car other than a grip racer. Seeing what Adam does for a 13B OEM+ FD will be totally awesome. They basically need to be OEM+ just to work and a guy with such a big budget will be able to build such a good reliable 400ish HP street car.

My best guess for why it didn’t show up on the leak down test of the r34 is because the engine was cold. After all that’s what those tolerances and clearances are for. To allow for expansion of parts when they get hot. So when the engine is cold, the parts were contracted enough to seal the valve. When the engine gets warm, the parts expand causing the clearance to be too small which would hold the valve open and cause the misfire

Adam should have just given the A90 to Johan... That guy is always working, whether its the shop or every drifting event Adam does. A true team player comes to mind with Johan and his wide knowledge of everything that makes him the swiss army knife of the human kind. Working for Adam is not a 9-5 gig which could make it a hard to stay motivated and not get burnt out like a few of the former employees previous. In a way its definitely a dream job for most... But even dreams have bad endings.

So Adam, your car collection is just like my gun collection. Wait don't go saying there is no comparison, well there is. I shoot IPSC and USPSA and some Steel Challenge. What my "Race Gun" collection is custom built 1911's and 2011's. A 2011 is a double stack (like a Glock) 1911. Anybody that knows pistols knows you can never get a trigger to work as well as a 1911 trigger. So thats what I got. You don't have to cut the fenders to run wider wheels on the FD, you can tub the chassis. And none of those other downsides matter when you consider there is no better sound than a high revving 4 rotor. That would be the purpose of the car. To be the best sounding and looking car that could also do some drifting. I may be biased tho bc a 4 rotor FD is pretty much a top 3 best dream cars of all time to me.

Adam you should double check your valve spring installed height, “seat pressure” I popped 5 shims one summer making 7-800 hp. Once i upped the seat pressure with super tech spring locators I was sorted out.
