Abarth 595 - 5" Touchscreen Review

Going to get a 595c comp later in the year. Defo don't think the 7" display is worth the £750 extra looking at videos on KZbin. Used the Apple CarPlay in my partners Tucson and it's pretty pointless if I am honest, not worth the £150 on top of the £750 7" option! Beats is probably worth it though. Just debating on whether I fork out the £350 for the TomTom app! Would you say the 5" display is a good size though? My car has a 9" display and is a great size for my nav app, worried it might be wasted on a 5" display!

The standard hi-fi is pretty decent for what it is, I opted not to go for the Beats Audio system in the end.

7788EH Yeah I agree, at the end of the day your not buying an Abarth for the touchscreen\hi-if anyway. Most of the time I just like to listen to the monza system!

Aftermarket crap just ruins the wires in your car and makes it look ghetto. The stock unit is just fine.

Not on the 5 inch screen, at least not at the time. You have to get the 7 inch for CarPlay

Hi Anteater! Sadly mine does not have a AUX port I don’t think any do. But you do have a USB port that you can plug into instead which is better for quality and will charge your phone too.

@Markoi Green Aux is actually a better more stable connection than bluetooth. Bit like vinyl is much better than mp3 quality.

anteater74 hi, maybe you don’t need it anymore but there is a big connector on the back of the head unit, and it has pins for aux, but I’m not sure if it would recognize it or not.

anteater74 not sure about the vinyl thing though! mp3 is pretty much a perfect copy with perfect signal to noise ratio and stuff. I like the idea of having a physical copy of something, but I would go with cd)
