I never talked to Benny but we saw BAO in London and came close to him. We did get to chat to Helen and Tommy. On stage he was comical introducing the concert telling us the dance floor was still packed in the truck. Later we found after the concert he had played in a nearby pub another couple of hours. I doubt any other artist would do that on the spur of the moment. Good memories of that day. APPA

Happy Birthday Benny! A musical legend and genius who, together with Bjorn Ulvaeus, wrote the most glorious popular music I've ever known. With the perfect vocals of Frida and Agnetha, ABBA was born. I saw them live in Birmingham in 1976 and again in 1979 at Wembley. All those years ago and they remain my favourite live concerts ever. Thank You Bobby's Brother. 🙏

Benny Andersson is in my opinion the greatest composer of 20th and 21st century. He is a musical genius. He composes music in so many various genres starting from pop to clasical and folk music ending on musicals, symphonies etc. His piano, synth and accordion skills are unique. He also is a master at creating delightful harmonies, both simple and masterfully complex. He is able to mix various instruments to sound like nothing else we could think of. Also as many people on the internet who got a chance to meet him say that Benny is a very kind and adorable person. I espesialy love Benny's orchestra. That music makes my mind feel relaxed. I wish I will be able one day to meet him in person to express my thankfulness for his music (although I got a chance to meet him, I went to Stockholm in August this year and I was in front of his studio on Skeppsholmen to try my luck and see him there, but unfortunately his studio was under maitenance and I was told that Benny went on vacation, but I'll be back there soon to try to meet him again :) ). Also thank you so much BB for your ABBA related content on YT, I really enjoy watching your videos.

Benny is unquestionably supremely talented and the musical driver behind ABBAs success. However I get the impression that he is a bit stubborn, awkward and a control freak. He has often said that when ABBA made a decision they all had to agree to it or it didn't happen. I bet it was Benny who usually raised objections. Also I think he is mean to the diehard ABBA fans out there who want to see various songs released such as Just Like That.
