What Milly said about the music industry dying. She is so accurate. Yes, the items that are played on the radio are music, but, there haven't really been any true songs on the radio since Weird Al's Running with Scissors. Some of the country music is good, but ABBA's two new pieces have been so impactful in lyric composition and instrumental layout, that I have seen more than a half dozen people start crying when upon first hearing the songs in these react videos. I responded to one of the first reaction videos to this song with (paraphrased) 'They're producing actual music.' Someone responded with what do you call the other things on the radio? Milly summed it, nicely. Besides, the first time I heard As Good As New in 79 and The Visitors (the song) in 81, I cried. Those two songs were beyond remarkable.

@@cannedmusic the constant chameleon adaptation of Lady Gaga is like the rare exception to the mass copy/paste music now... And she has paid a heavy price several times for daring to break with convention, Hell her short film/video for G.U.Y. quite bluntly depicts what she went thru over her ARTPOP journey. There are the other occasional Singer/songwriter out there of brilliance and genius, but one has to truly think about it now. At least in the 90s we still had some brilliance out there, but by 2020 the soul is gone as a whole. And to think I grew up in the 60s and 70s and went out in to the world in the 80s. These four will be inspiring millions of new dreams, Universe willing. If they can do it in their 70s, what excuse does anyone else have now? COntrast the brilliance of this quartet that is ABBA with the astronomic rise of Måneskin after winning EUrovision this year, being on Fallon last night and OPENING FOR THE ROLLING STONES. One elder brilliant group, and a new one. Ironically both have hit songs called, I KID YOU NOT, "Mamma Mia" HAHAAHAHAA THe irony is just hilarious.

The world has been yearning for more ABBA for 40 years and they kept refusing, but now they've returned and are hoping we'll still love them even though they (and we) have changed so much. I have no doubt the entire world will embrace them as though they never left, forever grateful for the musical gifts they gave -- then and now. The big global news of this 21st century for the music world is the return of the legendary Swedish pop group ABBA to the recording studios after more than 35 years (the last was "The day before you came") and the edition of his new songs after 39 years (the last was "Under attack") and a new album after almost 40 years (the last was "The Visitors") Beyond that these three data are for the Guines Book of records (I believe that No Group or Singer or Artist can come close to these incredible brands), the most remarkable thing is How they returned, with what level of quality And I must say that ABBA overcame all fears, doubts and expectations Their return is shocking and his quality is still valid "Don't shut me down" it's another surprise from ABBA A pop song was expected, but there were reservations and fears for what it could be (and here I include doubts to the voices of the girls due to their age) And we find a magnificent work The beginning is with Agnetha's voice attacking with the pleasant company of the piano. What Agnetha does in that introduction is anthology, exquisite modulating and using different nuances with her mature voice. Until Benny's signature piano glint (nod to the mega hit "Dancing Queen") and ABBA's typical pop song is with us, with the fans, because the lyrics speak to us. and Agnetha assumes that decoding of almost four decades and gives us her beautiful voice as the strings grow and lead to a memorable chorus with Frida reliving the historic third voice of ABBA But it doesn't end there, the second part adds hooks and a xylophone is added to the bells (a nod to the marimba in "Mamma Mía"), and the pre-chorus has more force with Agnetha and Frida and the violins anticipate the elevation to a chorus triumphant final anthology reminiscent of his greatest hits And it ends with a soft and sweet Agnetha voice and piano melody (nod to "Thank you for the music") Thank for your great reaction and for Your respect to ABBA music now we have a brand new album Voyage that is a worldwide success see in next ABBA vídeo GOD bless You

Oh milly your reaction is so common to all the others I have watched ,some amazed some shocked and some tearful, but always emotional. The genies are out of their lamp, we wished this day for 40 years and they dwell among us spreading their love and magic .And if you are very special and let them into your heart and mind they will dance and sing to you and play with your emotions and make you feel ALIVE like you have never felt before,oh is there still a pandemic in the world ,I'm 61yo was 14yo when I first heard them fell in love with them and they are the soundtrack of my life, this 2nd coming has given me rebirth I get to live twice ,that's how I feel ,I feel 14yo again😍❤

It’s so emotional because the song has so much melancholy about loving someone across time, and this resonates with the fact we’ve missed Abba for so long. How can you not cry? I was a kid in the 70s who loved Abba, and into the 80s when it was considered passe, which bothered me. You comment about how you lament the music industry for not having music like this anymore. It’s similar to my sadness when Abba was being "shut down." Loved your reaction. 💕 Darn if you didn’t make me cry again.

Dont worry, this kind of reaction is absolutely normal. ABBA is special in the way that no other group ever has been, only Elvis Presley can get my tears wet in the same way as ABBA, happy and sad feeling in the same time, its simply just touches your soul.

Nice reaction. It tore me up too lol. I’ve been a fan since 1974 when I was just a kid. Took me straight back to the late 70s. Wonderful song, us older people have missed Abba so bad for so long!!!!

I cried for it even before I could understand the lyrics the same way I used to do when my mom listen to them when I was a kid. This is Abba. Greetings from Brazil.

This is real pure music and they don't make that anymore. I have already ordered the new ABBA CD and am very curious about the other songs on the album. I've always been a fan of ABBA. I am now 54 years old and looking forward to what's to come in November this year... Greetings from the Netherlands

hello milly, I grew up listening to abba when they won the eurovision song contest in 1974 with waterloo, they had a song before that called ring ring which I loved, you have to listen to all abbas songs really, some will have you in a torrent of tears this is what there music does but some like gimme gimme gimme, voulez vous, dancing queen the list is endless they have that magic that can either make you sob your heart out or dance till you drop, this is true music by masters todays music is nothing compared to this

Absolutely nothing compares to it Geordiemark. I grew up seeing my dad addicted to all of ABBA’s songs and that’s how I feel in love with them. Thanks Geordiemark 🥰

I love your emotions and your tears. You are right about ABBA music. I have around eight CDs and two are in Spanish version. The majority music from ABBA the lyrics are so beautiful that makes you cry. One of my favorite is: My love my life, and If is wasn’t for the night. I was enjoying listening to you. Take care.
