One of the best reactions to this song. I would have never really known about Abba, unless it was for my dad. He was a teenager during the height of Abba. Always told me about how he worked the family chicken farm all week and would get off on Friday early and go to the disco. They called him Disco Danny (because he had the moves almost parallel to Travolta in Saturday Night Fever). His name is far from Danny though. My mom still pokes fun at him for it because she was his rock n roll queen. She met him during the time, when he was 19 and she was 22. Apparently he would also wear a suit to the club too. Wore a maroon one to their wedding in 1988. All in all, Abba is a family classic for me.

Voulez-Vous (the album from which this song is taken off) is their masterpiece. All the songs could have been singles, and all the singles were hits! One of the songs off Voulez-Vous which was supposed to be a single at first but never was released as one is ''If It Wasn't For the Nights''. The band went to Japan to make a promotional video of the song before the album was completed, and eventually they chose not to keep it as a single (big mistake if you ask me). You can find the video easily on KZbin, I highly recommend it! The melody is quite uplifting, while the lyrics are really sad.
