I loved the photos and the song. This is probably one of the most talented groups of all time. My only regret is that they never performed in Hawaii where I live. I'm not so sure any of them even came here on a vacation. I would have loved to have seen them.

ABBA has a new album, Voyage, recently released, and if you're an ABBA fan, the songs on this new album are a must see, each and every song on Voyage is as good or better than anything ABBA has ever done. Have a hanky handy, you're going to need one. Play their I Still Have Faith In You and you will see what I mean.

It came out in 1977 but never hit the Billboard charts. It did get a lot of airplay here in Hawaii but not in too many other places.

Faraway shores, beach boys and girls runnin in the warmth of the sand, some palm trees and cheesy guitars... one of my fave abba song from 1976...and it's just an obscure b-side... it's not even officially on their "Arrival" album... some bands are ready to kill to record and write a song of this kind... Once again...the song grows ...and the end is something ...again...

They get titled as disco, but their drums & bass don't follow the simple & ridiculously repetitious guidelines that virtually all of the disco bands had. No wonder the band jobs & record sales were usually sold out &.payed them off so well.

Kalihi Warhomes I meant disco bands. Yeah, there were quite a few good rock & metal bands. I just wish the radio stations would play good RECENT rock bands, instead of only playing ANCIENT ones, whos' songs are at least 30 years old, which are twice as old as oldies (from the 50s) were in the 70s. When they played to many 50s rock songs in the 70s, I'm sure that the baby boomers threw bitch fits! Yes, the internet didn't exist in the 70s, but that doesn't change the fact that the songs that todays' rock stations play are ALL, & I mean virtually ALL OLD, if not ANCIENT.

ABBA moved with the musical styles of the 70s and early 80s: touching on folk, glam, easy-listening, musical theatre, prog, disco, electronica. Not particularly innovative, but skilled at melding music and lyrics, finding the balance between catchiness and meaningfulness, and having great production and marketing. I love disco, but labelling ABBA as disco makes no more sense than labelling Paul McCartney/Wings as disco.

It's not totally the same as "Why did it have to be me". Chorus sounds in a different way. However I like Happy Hawaii more than "Why did it have to be me." H.H is joyfuller
