Hello, so nice to see you again in your ABBA Journay After the extraordinary success with "Waterloo" (1974) it took a long time for ABBA to ratify this success and demonstrate that the victory at Eurovision was not going to be a lucky and isolated success. "I do I do I do I do I do" (1975) was one of the songs that they tried this song is a beautiful melody, I think it reminds of the 50s decade, the voices and harmonies of the girls, the blonde Agnetha & and the brunette Frida are perfect, the song leaves a happy feeling the official video is simple and nice shows all four ABBA members, but the center is in the ladies Agnetha & Frida these video is one of four filmed at the same time in only two days the other three videos was for the songs: S.O.S. ; Mamma Mía ; Bang a Boomerang (if you pay atention, the outfits of Agnetha and Frida, are the same that the official video of "Mamma Mia" that you see soon in the chronological order) in UK it did not enter the Top 30 (only #38) but the surprise was in Australia, which gave them their first #1 there (3 weeks) follow by "Mamma Mía" & "S.O.S " with two another #1 consecutives (all three #1 in a row, in 14 consecutives weeks) in U.K. when seeing that event they published "S.O.S." and picks #6 and in U.S. they first edited "S.O.S." and reached #15 on Billboard, follow by "I do I do I do I do I do" with another #15 these is because ABBA have different company records in each countries, and each company decide wich song was released that's why the chronology was different: Europe: I do (x5)/ S.O.S./ Mamma Mía U.S.: S.O.S./ I do (x5)/ Mamma Mía Australia: I do (x5)/ Mamma Mía/ S.O.S. and then the ABBA's series of global successes will already be continuous between 1975/1982 The single before was "So long" (1974) that couldn't enter in the UK Charts (only #91 I believe) the following single is "S.O.S." The old-style feel is doo-wop, a 12/8 shuffle. The triplet piano, brass licks and "doo doo doo" (I DO I DO I DO) styling reflect doo-wop classics of the 1950s & 60s, e.g. The Platters - The Great Pretender.

Typical Swedish dance music I can say 😄. There are many bands here that plays that style of music, (not my favorite 😅). I think this is a pretty boring song, compared with many of their other songs. But the girls singing... fantastic as always.

Happy to disappoint you, this is how I do things, you're not the first person to complain about pausing ( EVEN THO ITS A REQUIREMENT FOR COPYRIGHT PURPOSES ) and you won't be the last Take your negative ass somewhere else!
