I am so happy to see younger generations enjoying as much as we did, back when we were young. It means that ABBA is timeless, even though, they are in the autumn of their lives now, but still can deliver the best pop music ever made on this planet.They don't have to prove anything anymore, they've been there and done everything. FYI: the final scene wasn't an old video of their's. They wore motion capture suits and what you were seeing was a de-aged virtual ABBA. They did this to kick off how their live concert will be for Voyage.

Agnetha is 71 years old right now and Ann-Frid is 75, her 76th B-day will be this November. The use of ILM technique of "Performance Capture" was used to create the avatars. So what we are seeing is actually them singing and performing. All gestures are them on stage.

The clips are from the past. The ending is the Abbatar's (Avatar) that have been created for their concert in the ABBA stadium in London. The Abbatar's are to represent going to see ABBA as they looked in the 70's.

Their new songs are melancholy, sensational, magical and completely unreal wonderful. I myself am 60 years old and have been there from the beginning. They were unique when they made an impact and that keeps them. I still have all their LP and cassettes at my old turntable from that time. Legends never stop singing. ABBA has conquered the world again!! Imagine if everyone could preserve this warm feeling we feel at this moment and take it with us in our harsh world. Greetings from Sweden!

@@martinhumble Jag förstår dig precis det var likadant för mig. På något vis blir man djupt berörd och livet rullar förbi. Det har hänt mycket under denna tid på både gott och ont, kanske därför man är så känslig. Det djupaste som sitter rotat i min själ än när jag fick kontakt med min far efter 30 år och när jag förlorade min dotter 2018 som då var 13 år gammal. Visst livet fortsätter på något vis genom att hjärtat slår men känslomässigt är du död. Därför försöker jag lyssna på musik för att få ut det onda.

ABBA started 1972. The two couples are not married any longer but still dear friends. Björn (Bjoern) and Agnetha (Ang-neta), have two children together Linda and Christian and grandchildren so they meet now and then. Now this latest production VOYAGE was made in 5 weeks of hard work 8 hours aday as Björn and Benny told. They were all surprised of how easy everything was like they left the studio last week and not 1982. Since they are very talented and intelligent people they succeded with an album. I've listened to these people since the 60-ies. I'm in the same age as Benny. Björn is born 1945 and oldest and Frida is born later same year. Benny is born 1946 and Agnetha 1950. Björn was in The Hootenanny Singers in the 1960-ies and Benny in The Hep Stars. The girls were vocalists in different dancebands. Anni-Frid started as a 14-year old vocalist mostly singing jazz in the beginning. Agneta was in a danceband, but has produced some recordings as soloartist too, writing both notes and lyrics.

In this song Anni-Frid (Frida) , darkhaired, is the lead singer, with Agnetha (Ang-neta), blond, coming in now and then.The boys Björn (Bjoern) guitar and Benny piano and keyboards joins in also. Björn writes most of the lyrics and Benny most of the music , but the girls contribute in the studio with ideas about songparts and arrangements. Björn is oldest, born 1945 and Frida later same year. Frida started as a 14-year old girl singing in a band mostly jazz in the beginning. Agnetha was in a danceband before her solo productions in which she wrote both music and lyrics. As Björn told when they produced this latest album 'VOYAGE' it was like they just had left the studio in 1982. The girls had it and sounded as before. Their eyes met in the studio and they all felt that it was as 40 years ago. Fantastic!!

Must say I loved your reaction. It made me feel full of joy. Just to say that the voice is that of Frida and the concert in the end is from their new hologram concert that will take place in a arena in London shortly. Filmed with 160 cameras during 5 days with the members doing all the songs with sensors attached to their bodies. They made them look just as we remember them. Youthful and full of energy. Björn now is 76 years old, Frida 75, Benny 74 and Agneta 71. The new album is coming the 5th of november. Cant wait, so exicited! For sure they still have it in them.

The scenes you thought was from an old video is actually from their future concerts. Weird sentence, I know, but it's true. What you are seeing are their avatars, or ABBAtars, that will be performing at the concerts starting in May next year. They are building a new arena for the purpose. ABBA was active during my childhood and this moves me in ways I never expected. They are also the reason why I love Home Free, who just like ABBA move me with their harmonies and arrangements and the soul and heart they put into their music. You haven't reacted to Home Free for a while and I would love it if you reacted to their latest release, Undivided, which also is a song that helps heal the world, just on a different way than ABBAs. The last part was motion pictures. The same way their consert next year in London will be shown. The members in ABBA is over 70 years old. They dont have the strenght to go on a tour.
