That clip is from the 1976 Bandstand show featuring only ABBA which at that time was watched by more people than the moon landing in '69! Also 'Rock Me' reached No.4 in '76 and was the b-side to "I Do,I Do,I Do,I Do,I Do" which was No.1 for 3 weeks in '75!

Initially this song was entitled "Baby" and Agnetha was the lead vocalist of it (even demo-version was released in 1994), but then it was decided to be sung by Björn.

I freaking LOVE this song. Very under appreciated. Has this amazing mid-70s glam-pop sound and a foreshadowing of disco when you listen closely to the drums and the beat overall. ABBA were and ARE brilliant!

Still has the same abba sound as soon as everyone starts singing. Bjorn has several different voices. When you get to the song Move On. It sounds nothing like you’d expect. I was at the Melbourne Concert and l can say honestly that they sounded just as good as in the recordings! And their personalities were vibrant as well! Thank you eleonora for your testimony.!Tell that to some prejudiced who recently commented ( in Rick Baetos fresh interview with Bjorn)negatively on their vocals observing that Agnetha's and Frida's vocal blending wasn't smth special,they couldn't harmonize well in reality and it was all studio fakery of their sound engineer that could also be used as any other session singers .Oh well....

Someone has already mentioned the similarity with Bjorn's voice to that of Noddy Holder (Slade). Slade are an English Band from Wolverhampton. I think you've played a Slade Reaction video in the past. This song is very typical of the 70's Glam Rock era. Being biased with liking Slade, it's a Hit from me - LOL!

Was released in Australia as a b side but became a hit in its own right in 1976 peaking at No 2. Abba couldn’t do anything wrong with their popularity in Australia peaking in 76-77. Not one of my favourites but glad you liked it GivenToe. Move On next please GivenToe, love it..

Certainly a great track. Vocal range is absolutely incredible and spot on for the song. Of course it would not the same with out the girls backing up. All four members are brilliant and talented. This what made them great. Their abilities to perform and sing according. Very brilliantly composed and lovely lyrics, gave meaning and inspiration. Very catchy. Should’ve been a A track and not a B track. Think this would’ve been a good top ten track. Nice to see you speechless almost Giventoe, and yes it will a shame when it comes to an end. 😢 let’s hope that ABBA can do another album soon.
