Photographer here: colour accurate online is difficult. As a photographer, I can do everything right: match the light temp, grey card, white balance, use a monitor that is correctly calibrated etc. But whether the viewer sees the same thing is up to whether *their* screen is calibrated correctly, which I don't expect people to invest a couple hundred for a Spyder tool to do so. Additionally, colour is generally much more saturated on mobile screens than a computer monitor. It's a struggle!

Even though niacinamide is being added to lots of things these days, the Ordinary Niacinamide Face and Body Emulsion has been making a literal overnight difference in my post acne hyperpigmentation. It has so quickly been evening my complexion and making my skin glowier than anything I’ve tried in a long time. I understand where you’re coming from that it seems unnecessary, but personally I love it, and it will probably be a staple I keep repurchasing.

Does it leave a strong sunscreen-like taste in the mouth? I drink a lot of water, so SPF balms usually end up in my mouth & almost leave a burning sensation on my tongue from how strong it is. If this one is mild, then I'm 100% picking it up!! The formula & shades seem AMAZINGGGGG.

YES! The Naturium lip products are SO hard to squeeze! I've got arthritis in my hands and on 'bad' days I don't even bother with these lip products even though I love the formula. Lip balm shouldn't hurt.

The SPF was 100% the benefit of that gloss. I wear lipgloss to the pool in the summer and I loved that they came out with that option and ran to get it. Love the formula for SPF. Hope it’s a staple and that they come out with more (concealer please) any additional spf for the summer helps.

I finally got my perfect foundation shade match with the ELF soft glam (shade 25). I’ve been using makeup for nearly 40 years, have tried high end, drug store, luxury, etc and always had to modify foundation with color correctors or mixing shades, to match my light/medium/peachy skin. You have no idea what a relief it is to just be able to use a foundation out of the bottle.

I love these types of videos I honestly kind of use it as ASMR😂 I love makeup and skincare and buy mostly drugstore since I’m on a budget, and the detail you go into with these videos is genuinely so helpful in figuring out if I would actually like the product or not and this reminds me so much of the conversations one of my bffs who I grew up neighbors with and roomed with in college. We were like each others surrogate sisters since we both had only brothers, and we would do makeovers trying out new products and do big skincare nights just catching up and relaxing. But we had different skin types, so we actually would get really into detail and try it out on each other, and since we had very similar skin tones , we would swap if the product worked better for the other. This kind of video brings me back to those nights that were some of the best in my life. The last few years have been rough and I’ve lost several close family members and friends before they should have gone, so I really appreciate being brought back to a time before all that right now. I am SHOCKED she didn’t like the Maybelline Fireworks mascara! It makes my lashes soooo long and wasn’t too wet to make it smear. And I didn’t have a problem separating lashes like she did. It’s the best mascara I’ve tried in years!! I HIGHLY recommend it! 🎆

I actually really like the Panorama mascara. It stays put all day, no flaking, no smudging and it slides off easily with makeup remover oil, balm etc. It makes my lashes very full and lush with maybe 2 coats. I think I’m on my 4th purchase now … in the blackest black shade or whatever they’re calling the darkest shade.

Am surprised to the see the Ordinary body care range in this video. I personally loved it for my extremely sensitive acne prone facial skin. Any 2% salicylic acid is too much for my skin, but this 0.5% was just perfect to use everyday and keep my skin clear. The niacinamide also is very perfect as more skincare leads to more acne, this was a very good addition as I have no reaction but get benefit. The body lotion is also perfect for my face, maybe too light for my body.

I love my brow/lash combo comb-brush from Ulta! The lash side is a metal comb and I use that to separate my lashes after adding my final layer of mascara. I 10000% recommend!!💕

I love this video! I just want to note it’s important to note that the comedogenic ingredients studies are unreliable and were tested on rabbit ears, which are prone to sensitivity and break outs. These ratings have not been tested on human skin and what breaks out one person doesn’t mean it will for sure break someone else out which is what the comedogenic ratings insinuate.

Then last winter I visited my friend in the south (I live in the northeast) and it was the easiest to apply and the best texture - I think they are super temperature dependent!

Came here to say this. She's comparing into products that cost TWICE as much per ounce. It's super worth it. Also, she didn't mention the cerave and elf also have ethylhexyl palmitate, also known as octyl palmitate, a widely used fatty acid ester that's used in cosmetics to soften and smooth skin, improve texture, and act as a solvent. I'm a research chemist and derm btw.

i love eucerin sunscreens (the EU made ones) but i’m also not super into tinted sunscreens. the new cerave cream looks lovely for the summertime! and essence discontinued “the blush” and brought out blue crush instead. i personally love them! they can also be depotted and placed into a magnetic palette! i also adore the loreal panorama. it’s a beautiful mascara. i like how it removes as its somewhat of a tubing formula. only thing i don’t love is the wand is a little spiky. also lash separators are great for clumpy mascaras.

The ELF Satin foundation works exceptionally well for me. It’s one of the few drugstore foundations that won’t oxidize on me, the finish is stunning, and it lasts all day. I’m almost 40 and it sits beautifully on my dry to normal skin.

I just bought my first Naturium lip balm the other day from Ulta in the shade Jam. When you started applying and talking about that lip balm, I was going to ask how the heck you're able to get product out! I have to squeeze with all my might to get a little product out and at first I thought maybe I got a defective tube, until I saw all the reviews on Ulta talking about the same issue, and then you as well. I think it's a tiny bit too sticky for my preference anyway, so with both those issues I probably just won't repurchase. They have so many beautiful shades though.

For me, a closeup of someone’s lips with makeup isn’t helpful. Someone’s base coloring is going to influence how the color looks on each person. Personally, I’d prefer to see the person’s whole face and then lips before and after application. I know if someone is a more cool toner person or perhaps has a deeper skin tone, the color that looks amazing on them may not be right for me.

I normally buy only drugstore products. But, last year I bought the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask vanilla and I love it. I recently bought the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm vanilla. I LOVE IT I can eat a snack and still have some on. What is sad sometimes you recommend something Abbey that I would like to try but where I live in Canada, Quebec. We don't have that in our drugstores a perfect example is Vanicream. We don't have any of these line products. Sometimes, we have some of the products brand but not all of them like Cetaphil. We have that brand but not Cetaphil Healthy Renew, Face Serum. Which I would love to try it.

Tweak Shampoo and Conditioners are great(thicker) used to be called ‘Ojon’! I use Philosophy 3-1 Bodywash-Bubble bath, but not Shampoo! Philosophy Purity is cleanser and toner, I like!! Thanks for your videos 😊🙏

For The Ordinary Body Care niacinamide, it’s the only niacinamide I can use for my sensitive skin. Almost every product contains 10% and breaks me out. The 5% is a dream come true.

Try Trader Joe's vanilla lip mask. It's $5.99 & I actually love it more than the laneige lip mask. It seems to actually moisturize with a lovey bouncy texture. I feel like the laneige can sometimes just sit on top of the skin while the Trader Joe's version seems to really melt into the lips.

I LOVE the L'oreal Lumi blush in the shade Dewy Worth It. I haven't used another blush since i purchased it. I agree, great staying power. And for me, Dewy Worth It is the perfect sun kissed shade for my skin tone. I'm in love. And yes, i really dont like that Elf foundation either. Not good. I've been using the CT glowy stick foundation. I've been loving it. I set it with the Givenchy Prism Libre powder. Looks amazing.

The Elf SPF Gloss BLUSH MUCH is much pinker than the one with pink in the name. I put a few coats of that on with a coat of THAT’S MY JAM and it is an awesome color! But thru out the day, I just use one or the other as a refresh.
