I watched the whole meeting as it was presented. It was a joyful occasion to see the participants and constituents of the Village of Dolton walk away with a smile on their face. Congratulations, this meeting was the dawn of a new era for the people of Dolton.

It appears in order for this community to accomplish anything, Henyard needs to skip the meetings. I’m sure the residents enjoy a well run meeting with productive, respectful dialogue without all the unnecessary accusatory unintelligible rants from Henyard.

I haven't lived in Dolton since my family moved (and took me with them) in the 1970s. I waved good-bye to Thornridge and that iconic Dolton water tower, and I never looked back. I must say, though, I am VERY impressed with the population of Dolton and I feel sorry for them. They provide a great example of civic partication, even if the mayor provides a great example of what seems to be obvious corruption. The saddest and scariest part, though, is that government and the legal system seem to be totally incapable of removing the bombastic Ms. Henyard. If there is one thing to be learned from this, it is that nobody should ever assume government will do the right thing.

Dear Town of Dolton/Village of Thornton, Ensure your citizens exercise their right to vote. To the leaders, please guarantee that voting ballots are properly monitored-after all, who can trust Tiffeny? Furthermore, let it be known that the world is watching. This meeting demonstrated how a town gathering should be conducted-civilly and peacefully. There was no tension in the room, nor any disruptive behavior often associated with Tiffany and her associates. I recall watching a town meeting led by Tiffany, where she played Rihanna's song "B*** Better Have My Money." Such conduct was highly inappropriate and unprofessional for a mayor. On a positive note, it was refreshing to see the young man apologize. Well done, everyone!

Keith Price should apologize to everybody for what he and Tiffany did. For 3 years Keith price and Tiffany ran Dalton in the ground stole all the taxpayers money. The first thing I should have came out of his mouth was apology for all the s*** that he did. The praise him for doing the right thing. He has no choice he got caught and he's trying to save his own butt. He's forced to do right by the people by the FBI. The ease up what's going to happen to him. I'm sorry but I'm the kind of person that don't forgive and don't forget. But I always be feeding you from a long spoon and handle.

I’m not even a citizen of Illinois but I have to admire the people of Dalton for scratching, fighting to take possession of their town. Much criticism has been leveled at the residents, and I have been guilty of it, but how many of us can say we know intimately what is going on in our local, county, and state governments? The citizens of Dalton painfully know how democracy can be hijacked by people filled with self interest. God Bless you all. I hope the rest of America has learned a few things. In my opinion, what is happening in Dalton is happening in our nation as well. ❤❤
