Hopefully it'll take them a year or 2 to close the highway permanently. I'll probably be moved out of the area by then. I don't get why the current situation of being closed on Weekends and Holidays good enough already. There's barely anyone on the beach during weekdays.

All those moving to San Francisco from others part of the country bringing all their traumas and elitists ideas; along with their money. They’ve got used to this type of crap. While the rest of us, living in the outer Sunset/Richmond, Excelsior/Crocker/visitation valley/Portola, Bayview and tenderloin have became their backyard for all their therapy.

Oh please. The great highway goes no where, has no exits except at each end, and is washing away. Take Sunset Boulevard. It’s faster, has exits and is only a few blocks east. Problems solved.

I can’t believe the voters actually voted to close a main road, inevitably sending all that traffic into neighborhood streets just so they can have a park. I only use that regularly on weekends when it’s closed, but still, this was a dumb idea to vote yes.

It would probably make more sense to take put erosion prevention/beach recovery measures in place, save the beach from erosion and just add a bicycle/pedestrian path. All the problems would be solved and nobody would have anything to complete about. But, we all know that it's the end goal and isn't likely to ever happen.

Just stupid with no thought on the impact of traffic flow, increased pollution, impact on business, etc. This is the reason San Francisco continues to repeat making mistakes that degrade the quality of life for the whole for the a minority few. There should have been a study to see how many people use the great highway during a work week and where traffic would be funneled through first.

No on K. Sunset blvd. and surrounding residential streets can not handle the traffic. Great Highway makes an easier less congested route for me I live blocks away from the GH and Balboa. Not fair to us the LOCAL residents.
