I grew up camping. There were 5 kids in our family too ! We camped from primitive to full hook up. From tents to pop ups to trailers to motor homes. We all have such great memories and we still talk about our times. I’m almost 70 now. I know we were lucky to have the parents we had❤ we learned so much and every time was a new adventure. And that steak looks delicious!!!

Hey Tony, I just got a Belgian Malinois. This is one of about three breeds I love. Anywho, I always wanted to go backpacking with a dog and your videos have inspired me. I am learning how you are able to incorporate dogs into camping and I am so excited to do the same. Obviously in the United States (California), there are some dangers and restrictions that we have to be aware of. I am so happy to see how easy you are able to make camping with a dog can be. I am fortunate that this dog was trained. Oh, I forgot to mention that this is a rescue. I am looking into tents that would accommodate a person and a dog and I am also looking for lightweight sleep systems for pets. I will be making some alterations/adjustments to my backpacking gear. I am open to any advise you may have on making camping/backpacking with a dog easier. Thank you for all you are doing for us viewers. Your hard work is not going unnoticed. Hi Tony, I am enjoying taking my time watching this 5 hour video. I absolutely love this large “palace” tent! I am at the first cigar time in the video, and I love how Bruno gets so relaxed when it is cigar time and how he winds down on his blanket. That steak looked so delicious-with a perfect char on the outside. I want to get a Cobb stove now. Stop video...I absolutely love this tent! The whole air tent idea would be perfect for me. Tent polls suck when you're setting it up alone. I have the small Ryobi air compressor that would work perfectly for an air tent, as you just set the psi to what's required, and press the button. It's amazing how I've just recently found your channel, and you already have me wanting to tent camp. I was looking for a used travel trailer, but even used is too expensive. I have 20 acres in the California desert (just west of Yuma, and Mexico), where I could camp during the winter months. I also have a shipping container on the property which would allow me to store some of the camping gear, but not all, as it's not climate controlled (no electricity to the property). I've already started an Amazon "camping list". I don't have a lot of money to spend on equipment. The tent is the biggest expense. Currently looking at a small cabin style tent. I'm really getting excited about this. The only other thing I need is a new BFF. Lost my boy to cancer about five years ago, and have just now started thinking about rescuing a new friend. It wouldn't be camping without a fur baby with me. Thank you Tony for motivating me to get back out there camping. I wasn't sure about doing it alone at the age of 60, but I think it'll still be a good time. Wind will definitely be an issue, and even with quality stakes, I don't know how it will work out with our sandy soil. I love it when he has to handle a random situation and says “talk amongst yourselves”. It somehow makes me feel like we all really are talking amongst ourselves, like we are all actually conversing around the campfire, even though we’re clearly not, lol. I love this channel so much-it’s brought me so much peace. And I’ve always considered myself an “indoor girl”…who would have thought?! Even my husband (who is most definitely an outdoor country boy) is blown away by my love of this channel after 21 years of me showing no interest in outdoor activities! If I die I would love to be reincarnated as a dog owned by you, Ann & Brandon. I loved the fact you took Bruno on the last trip with you. Dogs adapt. I have a little dog now because both of my parents died after receiving the Covid & Flu shot together. They died within 2 months of each other (strokes, it’s on the CDC website that could happen but not when my parents got the shots). Bruno is an absolute joy, especially on night 2 when he was creating his own little nest in the tent! 😂 Looking forward to your next camp. Glad you guys stayed an extra day. Love that Air Tent! would a foot bellows be an easy solution for an air pump? We had a river raft once and a bellows blew it up in no time. It really matters not, you had it done in no time at all.
