Dwayne Hickman and Bob Saget dies on the same day; Jan 9, 2022. Hickman's death was WAY overshadowed by Sagets. So often it happens that 2 famous people pass on the same day, but one gets WAY more attention. This happened back in 1959, when former Our Gang member Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer dies when he was shot in self defense by someone who owed him money. However the great filmmaker Cecil B, Demile died on the very same day and while Demille received tons of write ups about his career, Alfalfas death was just a footnote in the daily news.

Michelle, I've watched 3 of these memoriams tonight on U-Tube, and as I looked at them I thought about how fleeting life is. I just turned 73 and I grew up watching some of the people who died this year, like Tony Dow on Leave it to Beaver. I remember those days so well and most of the time my age boggles my mind because it seems like yesterday I was a young girl. I picture all my old school friends as young and then I remember they're now my age. It really does give you a new perspective on life and how tomorrow may never come for you, so we need to cherish each day we have.
