@maryanng68414 жыл бұрын
@@marciathehooligan3861 - I would rather than Sydney and Justin, Nicole's two children by OJ have that money than OJ. That being said; the Goldman's were never really after the money, per se. They wanted a court of law to find OJ Guilty of murdering Ron and Nicole. With the civil trial, they got that. They also were awarded $33m but as Fred Goldman's says in the documentary, "OJ-Made in America," the award judgment is a piece of paper. Now it is up to the Goldmans (Fred & Kim) to collect it. OJ is still a very wealthy man with lots of lawyers. The Goldmans do not have those type of resources to hire lawyers to uncover OJ's wealth. His NFL pension is protected from creditors as is a few other sources of wealth. The Goldmans are considered creditors in this situation. In my opinion, OJ murdered Nicole and Ron in an extreme act of rage. In the book, "IF- I Did IT" OJ "hypothetically" recounts the murder with such detail. It is unsettling. There is also a hypothetical confession that was taped for TV that recently was released. When this confession was taped, OJ had already been found not guilty in the criminal case. Double jeopardy protects OJ from being tried again. By the way, the Goldmans were able to obtain the rights to the book, "If I Did It." Moreover, they have gone on to fight for other peoples' rights who have gone through the same types of experiences that they have gone through. Furthermore, they have tried to keep their lives as healthy and productive as possible. Sure, everyone in this lifetime will experience trials and tribulations. However, it's how you let those trials and tribulations affect you that count. Fred and Kim Goldman have managed to seek and locate a silver lining within a black cloud, and I salute the both of them for that. Everyone in the world knows the butcher got free because of a joke of a justice system and stupid jurors who did not understand DNA or forensic evidence! How the lawyers who defended him sleep at night ,still escapes me. In every normal country with all that INSANELY overwhelming forensic evidence,the slaughterer would have been sentenced to life prison. But in America, the racial circus and everything that had nothing to do with the two innocents murdered, came to play. We in other countries watched lauging via tears ,disgusted and dismayed . This case was a sham of US justice.

Yeah, the jury didn't even deliberate on the evidence! If I was on a jury and that happened I would refuse to convict or acquit unless the evidence was fully considered. If the other jurors refused to deliberate, I'd hold out indefinitely until it was declared a mistrial. That way another jury would be assigned and hopefully do their job...Smh.

Kim. I was a family law paralegal for five years. I did my externship in criminal law. I can assure you, you are correct. Truth, integrity, honor, and justice really have no standing in a court room. The judges are just regular people wearing a black robe and just going by statutes and previous cases. It’s very depressing, especially dealing with small children, some of whom are forced back into very abusive situations. Ron and Nicole deserved so much better. You and your dad can hold your heads up high!! Don’t ever stop going after the POS!!! He wants to say he did it. He is a sociopath. He thinks he should be able to do anything he wants, anytime he wants, to whoever he wants. I think it’s killing him to not be bragging about he did it. He truly thinks he is above us all, including the legal system. The jurors in the criminal case were a bad joke. He deserved to get the DP.
@lexicon0085 жыл бұрын
ok first if a juror told her that they felt it should be a guilty verdict..they lied..because every juror was polled and said otherwise so they either lied to her or the judge/court. Second the standard is "beyond a reasonable doubt" the defense right or wrong showed alot of doubt. Mark Fuhrman, the collection of evidence, the detective who had blood in his pocket at the crime scene and OJs house. This is all doubt. TOday we might look at it differently but then, it's a situation when a jury was given evidence that was not conclusive. The "it does not fit:" defense that the prosecution failed to destroy. This was a terrible situation and from a criminal trial perspective I have to agree with the jury. Based on the evidence the prosecutors failed to prove their case. This does not mean he didn't do it. It means they failed to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. A civil case judgement against someone is not to that standard. It only needs a 51% GUILT on the juries part. Now the level of evidence is also different for civil vs criminal cases. But having said this, lets say OJ did it. The law in the land is "beyond a reasonable doubt" and unfortunately the prosecutors failed that test.

I was shocked when one juror said it didn't matter if he was guilty or not. Those kids needed their daddy. Someday OJ will stand before GOD and will be judged.

Linda. OJ didnt do it. His son Jason did it. There is a doc on here, please watch it. OJ participated in getting rid of evidence, going to the murder scene right after, and taking the wrap-but he did not kill anyone. I have no doubt any longer. The saddest part, the LAPD, States Attorney, former prosecutors etc want nothing to do with, that could prove the truth. OJ wants the world to continue to believe he did it so he can keep his murdering, dangerous, alcoholic, pill popping, in and out of rehab, girlfriend beating son safe. Sad truth, but I know someday the truth will come out-it always does.
