I am a DV survivor. I can tell you the radical difference in HOW I was treated AFTER Nicole’s death…night and day. My soon to be ex’s reputation wasn’t as important. His belief he could influence the court and paint me in a bad light, stopped as we learned more and more about the DV cycle. I had good judges and great therapists, dv court support persons, and probation officers who worked with me. Thank you for bringing this into the light of day all those years ago.

Well that's true, she knew she lived with a zoo animal. So her adultery and drugs triggered him. That's a fact I know FACTS don't care about your feelings but they're still facts. She knew his triggers and ignored them. She had a loving supportive family who would've welcomed her back with open arms had she just walked out or decided to divorce him for one of her lovers. She chose not to. FACTS. It's awful and horrible that she was murdered and he was an animal. That doesn't change the *FACT* that had she made better choices she would still be alive today.

I feel like victims are too often put on trial and their abusers get a pass. I feel like Nicole has been vilified like so many other victims and it angers me. I hear people making jokes about Rihanna getting hit and it sickens me. Cassie has been vilified. No one believed her until the tape of her being beaten surfaced. I hope this documentary about Nicole along with the footage of Cassie in that hotel trying to escape opens up a discussion about this issue. I thought I knew my ex husband, normally very quiet, seemingly calm. But everyone has a different side. We had already divorced and I was getting ready to move into the small house I raised our kids in. As we were rounding the corner of the house, I noticed the door to the basement was open. He turns to me and says, "I think it would be a good idea if you killed yourself." I don't why I did not react to that. It was chilling. He may considered pushing me into that basement with about 8 steep steps. All I have to say is, be careful, pray and escape, while my husband was never violent, he could say hurtful things. What he told me that day was horrible. Nothing happened to me, Thank GOD.

Dominique “Mimi” is the sister who allegedly sold nude pics of Nicole to the tabloids. When she was testifying during the civil trial OJs lawyers heard about this and asked her under oath and she confessed she did sell those photos. Rewind to 1994 when she and her family did an interview with Diane Sawyer and their mom Judy said “the girl who sold those pictures should be ashamed of herself.” And the room fell silent and all eyes looked wary and awkward because she was talking about Dominique “Mimi” who was sitting right in front of her and the sisters and Lou (Nicole’s dad) knew it but the rest of the world didn’t know it until years later during the civil trial.
