This dude gave an unexpectedly thoughtful and uplifting interview, which was really nice. A lot of these segments are "Out of touch news anchor tosses thoughtless cliche softballs to up and coming pop star he's never heard of" but this all seemed very engaging and genuine. A rare instance where I enjoyed both sides of this conversation.

Drag culture? Do you even know where the word “drag” comes from and what it means? What “drag queen” comes from? And don’t check Wikipedia, they don’t tell you the meaning of the term intentionally not to offend anyone, so they put up some fake explanation “not clear origin of the term”. 😆 It’s a slang word the lower class people would use, especially the “employees” themselves, since late 19c for sure. They still do commonly in the UK. Don’t know about US. “The drag”. A hint: it’s an area, where people used to walk a lot, it exists in many towns and cities since the “beginning of time”, and the most flamboyant ocuppants would become queens of the drag. So “drag culture”, think about what it means. I am not criticising the performers today, just be honest about it, and don’t misinform people or tell them it comes from “theatre” and should be celebrated “culture”.
