I so agree with this statement. So much God given or natural talent is wasted b/c no caring adult, parent or other person of capabilities/means is paying attention & guiding their own children or others to success. I see if everyday. Our world's travesty, not putting effort into our next generations.

Diane Kerrison that doesn’t make any sense. you can see that she loves surfing. even if she was poor she would still be out there surfing the same
@CarolineIsAwesome2 жыл бұрын
@@elenaromeroo even if you get all the equipment used, many sports are expensive. Kids grow out of wetsuits every 6 months, which have to be tight fitting to work. Similarly, they need new boards as they grow, which aren’t cheap. You also have to get up early for the best breaks many times, which working parents can’t always do.

wow, it`s not her surfer skills that are amazing- it`s her focus! I mean, for a 7 year old that`s...well, incredible! She is not waiting for someone to put things in front of her- she goes out and makes it happen! That part, where she woke up before her mom, did research and knew where she wanted to go! I wish I showed so much initiative about things when I was growing up...instead I messed around a lot, without properly understanding how to things and not trying enough to make them work! This is some precious child!

What a beautiful family relationship and story. Quincy is truly an inspiration. She is humble but also acknowledges that she deserves the enjoyment the ocean brings and this requires passion and love. I learned how to surf as a young pre-teen then gave it up because I became easily discouraged/kept comparing myself to others who were better than me and made a million of other excuses not to go.... In the back of my mind surfing was always something I wanted to get good at but had just failed to put in the required effort and time.... Now at 24 yrs old I surf almost everyday in some of the best surf beaches of Southern California and it is the best feeling. I will never stop. I have acquired the love for the deep blue which won't ever go away.

Cpt.AirWolf the comments aren't about objectifying her, they're just compliments which clearly you can't recognise because you don't get any
@_theaven_59076 жыл бұрын
This girl is beautiful. That's because she probably eats good and obviously works out a lot without even knowing she does. If people would eat better, work out more and drink more water, they definetly will become more "beautiful". But of course the Video isn't about a *beautiful* 7 year old surf girl. No it's only about a 7 year old surf girl. So i get how your thought of objectification came up. But you forgot about something. People who are beautiful get more attention. (that's probably why they took a good picture of her in the thumbnail) so of course People would comment stuff about her beauty. Her beauty gets attention. I don't think that it is Bad. It would be Bad if all the attention would Focus on her beauty and nobody Sees the Surfer girl, the talented girl, the determined girl. But for now it doesn't and therefore i would say that you are overreacting. Although i'm happy that There are People, like you @Cpt.AirWolf fighting for her to still be seen at what she truly is. A flying squirrel Be determined, Make your dreams become reality and be thankful for everything you have:)!
