Poor people dont know how to deal with money, if you win 112 million dollars, you dont donate large chunks of it and go and buy expensive anything UNTIL you have invested it PROPERLY, and i dont mean on a business that you think will work, not on your church , not on some idea that a friend has and not on the stock market if you have no idea what youre doing. you Invest in property, 5 million buys you an apartment building in new york city, netting you 20,000 a month in rental income, 240,000$ a year. After taxes and yearly expenses, youre walking away with over 120,000 a year in profit, THIS is what you use to have fun and splurge and take vacations. This is how rich people remain rich and keep the wealth in their families for decades and centuries. 60 million in property would have gotten her 3 million dollars a year in income. People should learn a bit about money before they even think of playing the lottery. Her spending 200k on hand bags, 400k on cars, and millions on a house is poor people habits with rich people money.

I believe you are right. It comes down to self esteem at the subconscious level. The simple truth is that you don't get to Cynthia's physical size without over eating a lot !! She is obviously intelligent she knows what foods to eat and not, way beyond what most folks know, she doubtless understands the effectiveness of hypnosis and acupuncture and so on, but she is still very big, this to me makes it clear she has some deep fundamental psychological issues that she never resolved. Perhaps her first investment should have been some one on one sessions with Tony Robbins, perhaps that way she would still be very rich. It's a shame things have not worked out better for her she seems a genuinely wonderful person, but then her story ain't over yet, there is still time.

Crazy, I was just watching a show featuring Cynthia called "Lottery Changed My Life" when she was engaged. The amount of useless crap she was planning on splurging on baffled me. Her fiancee had wanted a Bugatti that was 2.2 million, she wanted to buy a private plane for 6 million (the cost of refueling was 25 000), she also wanted a Phantom Rolls Royce for 300k. You can have it it all at a fraction of what she spent on her home and cars, purses, gave tons to charity. You do not have to give so much to charity. I stick with a good amount to give but, not enough to be broke again. Oh and move away from family and friends who will want your money. Give some to your loved one's. Then some of the rest of the winnings you can save it and let some of your winnings be used into purchasing land and real estate.
