I am not even American and I am in awe and I feel my own Canadian heart swelling with pride that this man is in power in the state of PA. When the time is right this man will be a truly great president. I hope I am around to see it. Shapiro is such a class act. He was not my first pick. Neither was Walz. Truth be told, I was still learning about the both of them. But Shapiro won my respect with how he handled not being picked and gave Kamala and Tim such a warm welcome in Philly! You can tell a lot about a person with how they handle not winning. Shapiro is the ultimate team player. I'm sure he's disappointed not to have been chosen. IMO, he would've been a fine choice as VP, but being honest about it all, the US first had to get used to a black man being president--Obama--and only now are they ready to accept Kamala Harris as the first female black president.
