What happened to Ashley Judd? No more movie roles, so she goes into a role to hate the men that she perceives ended her career? I mean, the mass public can vote. Just look at her. Also, that METOO founder. Seriously, if none of you women have had luck in life with men, just look at yourselves in the mirror. Stop getting angry at men. They are not the reason for your lack of success. By all means, go back to your "sisterhood" or whatever "hood" you came from.

I met Rose in 2009 on a film set I had a bit part in. Called Dead Awake. She was legit the nicest celebrity I’ve ever spoken with. Even then I knew she had been hurt. Someone hurt her bad and now she’s paving the way for all women and men that have been wronged in that way. Takes a badass strong person.

His looks, raspy voice and dour stance must have made it real scary for his victims alone with him in his hotel rooms. He has all the money and power and he could have gotten some of these women if he had acted gently instead of preying on them. But since he has power, he might have felt like he didn't have to be gentle or believed that despite being powerful, being gentle still wouldn't work because he's not good-looking.

Her pain and anger can't be denied. I admire her so much. Victims of rape and abuse are silenced and that has to stop. Should never have been allowed to begin with. Most tragic part is many women could've been saved if only someone who knew or even had an idea that it was happening had spoken up sooner. At least now victims of abuse can have a voice and know that even rich, famous, glamorous people of Hollywood can be abused and tormented. Never too late. Always speak up.

Thank God for people like her. I'm so excited that we're finally pulling the platform from under these rich, morally sick people that are in control. She's risking her life for the better of everyone in this world. Something I wish more celebrities would do. They can't destroy everyone if they stick together. There's more of us then there are of them. And thank God for social media for putting the power back in our hands and opening up the world to the truth. As hard as it is to look at and realize what really goes on in the world, like Rose said in another interview, we have to look at it if we're going to heal it. We need real freedom in the world. Not this false freedom that we've been entrapped in.

She was the original lady of mirimax and she sued Weinstein and was blackballed , Gwyneth than became the last of mirimax bc she didnt do anything about what he did to her. It's frustrating that Paltrow & jolie never said anything bc they became very popular and got their own power . How could these woman and say nothing. The men too but these woman were also sexually harrassed or touched plus they came from hollywood parents so I really am not trying to blame them they were victims but traded their souls for Oscars and fame. They should have cared about the fates of all the other women who would not at least get the massive careers they had were raped and went back to their hometowns. If Jolie judd sorvino and Paltrow had banded together to expose him it would saved a lot of women. Rose mcgowan did not come from hollywood power like the 4 above mentioned so she knew her word as a new actress would be crushed. From what I read many media people tried to run stories but were silenced bc Weinstein payed off the papers and mags they wrote for That's why I think it's a sham that celebrities try to influence their fans in politics morals etc when they all covered for a monster. Ben Affleck Mr liberal talking about what's right knew Harvey was attacking women and said nothing. I guess his oscar and a career for him far outweighed the pain many many women endured who didnt even get a career for their trouble.

#MeToo for all black men who have been wrongly accused of raping white women through the centuries in this country. Those who've been hung, murdered and incarcerated wrongly. Some of which are still in the prison system at this very moment (with no evidence against their incarceration). If people are going to be true about this moment, then they need to be true about those who are innocently charged as well!

It's actually incredibly hard to prove a rape case in court. So most men actually walk and still rape women. 94 women have claimed they were sexually assaulted by Harvey Weinstein and he still hasn't been charged. So enough with falsely accused tears. 9/10 the accused did rape.

The legal system in most countries truly needs an overhaul due to the way victims of sexual assault and/or rape are typically treated. In many western countries a single judge, typically a male, is the person who decides whether the case "has merit" enough to go to trial which involves a jury. And unfortunately those few cases where a woman does report the rape to police and takes it to court usually end with that one judge deciding it won't go any further i.e. the case is dropped. Furthermore, those women who do go to both the police and the courts commonly experience a lot of blaming by police officers and it gets much worse when it comes to the lawyer defending the assailant(s). It still happens that the sexual history of the victim is legally allowed to be brought up, as is her mode of dressing, behaviour and so on, all to try to make it look like it wasn't assault or rape. And if the woman froze, a most typical response to sexual assault and understood as quite a normal reaction - at least by psychologists and rape crisis counsellors - the fact she froze and didn't physically 'fight back' is taken to indicate she consented! Unless a survivor of assault or rape has very obvious marks on her that doctors - typically those who saw her after the traumatic event such as when making up the 'rape kit' in Hospital EDs - will unequivocally state is proof of force used against her, from bruising to tears etcetera, it's extremely common for the case to be reduced to one of 'he said, she said' with the survivor being further victimized by a court system where a woman who has been assaulted or raped has every aspect of her life out under the microscope by the defendant's lawyer to try to prove it was consensual and indeed to blame the survivor. Furthermore even cases where evidence of physical force is obvious, the assailant's lawyer will still try to make it appear to be a case of consensual sex that was a bit 'rough'. One famous case in point is in the book "Lucky", the debut novel of the writer, Alice Sebold, of the much more well know "The Lovely Bones" (which was made into a movie), in which she relates her own horrific rape and the trauma of getting it to court - and winning. At the time, Alice Sebold was a virgin who was attacked and raped by a man she did not know on her College campus, and it was very obvious that it was an incredibly aggressive rape: her assailant had also threatened her with a knife, nearly strangled her, hit her etc. - but the lawyer for the rapist went on the attack in court regarding everything from the clothes she was wearing at the time to asking why she didn't strike him or scream out! The book, "Lucky", is a must-read for every woman (and those who know a woman who has been through sexual abuse, assault and/or rape), particularly as it reveals the mendacious techniques used by lawyers for rapists and abusers, and the way victims of such trauma are re-traumatised by the legal process. Combine the horrendously traumatic effects of being through sexual assault or rape - such as seen in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a frequent result of such events - with the current legal system that tends to revictimize the survivor(s), and it's no wonder so few women report assaults.

Alyssa Milano reignited the MeeToo movement not her Charmed co-star. What she is doing is very commendable but her classless way of going about it and the rejection of her femininity in a lot of ways through her apperance just puts what she's trying to do in another room, far away from the one she's actually in. She's sabotaging her own story through her actions. It's not nice to watch. She is speaking as if she was in a movie or TV show - it comes off as auditioning for a reality show. Maybe it's because I'm Scottish and don't understand America's "smell the flowers, feel the wind" in certain situations that shouldn't have that type of ideology with it. Of course everyone knew - you don't need to be Stephen Hawking to understand that. Celebrities keep quiet because if they don't - they lose their status, they don't get the money and the movies. She took money because she needed the money. She took the money and kept her mouth shut because she knew she couldn't fight it. The reason she's done this is because allegations of assaults came flying through and she decided that because there was more than just her - she felt she was safe enough to do it. Strength in numbers. There's a systemic failure. It's in so many areas of the world... politics, health sector, justice system, Hollywood - people keep quiet because they can't afford to deal with the consequences of what will happen. Humans are selfish. It's different if you are a normal, average working person. But with media moguls like Harvey - you can only get to him if you have nothing to lose. If you have nothing to lose, you've got everything to gain. She was young and she knew if she fought him, she would lose and her career would be finished. She chose her career. So all these years later, she expects to come out and say that he did this but she couldn't say at the time - she could have, she just couldn't face losing her career. She was selfish and the system doesn't reward selfish people nor does it reward selfless people in a lot of cases. She made a choice, she should have had to live with that choice rather than use her celebrity as a platform to sell her story and then judge others (like the trans woman) for getting angry at her for being opportunistic about when she told her story. Very stupid woman.

J Burrough she was stunning from her early days on Scream and jawbreaker, phantoms right through to her Charmed days and the death race films with her then fiance Rob Rodriguez.... The hair shaving must be her way of shedding her layers and well, trying to cope I guess!??????

Daaamn. I always wondered what happened to her, going from one of my favorite movies doom generation to jawbreaker to that witch show on tv, in which she seemed very strange to me. I guess Hollywood women don’t give each other heads up there r so many of these stories w different men

M N get out. you’re dumb do your research on sexual assault. Hard enough when it’s with someone who is not famous. Can’t even imagine how hard it could be when your abuser has so much money and power and resources to manipulate. Do you know what gaslighting is? what psychological abuse is? what fear is? what minimizing is? he successfully hushed her and she feared she would lose her career if she kept trying to seek justice. A lawyer told her no one would believe her. No one actually did anything when she came out at the time. Wake up. And did it ever occur to you that her accepting movie roles was her way of making the best of an awful situation? To try to keep working? Or maybe she tried to move on like it never happened in order to deal with it. Everyone reacts to abuse differently and her reaction doesn’t make her bad. The time she comes out with her story doesn’t negate her experience. how can you possibly make *her* the bad guy? You’re disgusting. You think it’s a hoax and you are part of the problem why people don’t come forward and speak out against their abusers. Gtfo

Most of these women could have put an end to it a long time ago by reporting these actions to the proper authorities, they may not have gotten any more work in Hollywood, but they would have at least had their integrity, but they did what they felt they had to do to become famous, so in essence, sold their souls, now that Rose McGowen isn't relevant anymore, she's trying to keep the spotlight on herself, I'm not saying what happened to these women is right, far from it, but they could have said no and walked away from the fame and fortune, she isn't so innocent, anybody remember what she wore to the 98 MTV movie awards? Prostitutes wear more than she did. If you don't want to be sexually harassed, you might not want to go out in public practically naked, cover up. After the first time it happened, I don't know how many times she's claiming that it happened, but after the first time, if you go back, you know the game and are willing to pay to play. Rose could have gotten a job at McDonalds and kept her integrity, I could respect that but coming out now after all these years, especially now that she's not acting much...not so much.

KESHA was the one who started this movement, NOT ROSE. PLEASE see through her. If she was BRAVE she would have shut her legs, smacked his face and walked out of the hotel room 20 years ago. If she was BRAVE she wouldn't have taken 100,000.00 and kept her mouth shut for 20 years. And if she was TALENTED she wouldn't have needed to jump the me too movement 20 years later to attempt relevance again.

I have been watching interviews of this woman, Rose McGowan and I hate to say it, but she is a beautiful weirdo. Her mind is unique. She says that she is normal, but she isn't. This doesn't mean that she wasn't assaulted. I am just saying that the way she described the incident with Weinstein doesn't seem that clear cut and since the way her mind works seems a bit off-kilter it makes me wonder...If you watch her express herself and repeat it a few times it makes more sense on the second or third hearing but she has a strange energy. She claims that she is smarter than other actresses and that anyone who questions her account must be stupid. She also called Weinstein ugly (the ugliest person she had ever seen) as if that is relevant to whether or not he was a rapist. It it were Brad Pitt who had done the exact same thing to her, would she be crying "rape" I wonder. She also says that she is smarter than all other actresses and anyone who would question her actions in this situation. She was the one who WASN'T SMART ENOUGH to avoid going to his hotel room alone.
