Samad, Great video as always and Salam fantastic set up. I love your adventurous spirit. Looking forward to more details. Some information on the set up. Each of the tanks shown are about 8 m diameter and 2 m deep with almost 100, 000 litres of water with 3-month-old 20,000 MST (Average 125 grams) & 1 month old 3000 “GIFT” Tilapia. He uses 5 units of HAP-120 (About 85 LPM at 1.5m depth of the pond) with 5 loops of 4 meters long Airoxy tubes and has a standby power supply which automatically switches on power failure. The standby system turns off when mains return. It also notifies the owner and operator on their cell phones, if the system malfunctions. He says it is easy to maintain compared to the RAS he had before, and the care taker comes around twice a day at morning and evening to feed the fish. The feed used is Growel 2.5 mm (28% protein?) along with 0.25 kg of Tapioca powder/kg of feed as the Carbohydrate source for feeding floc in fine milk form added to pond about 30 minutes after each feeding (not clearly stated). The floc density is maintained about 30 to 40 ml/litres. These are some calculations behind the set up and what to expect in coming months. If fish grows well, one can expect an average weight of about 450 grams in Six month grow out period. This means about 10,000 kgs of fish in 100 m3. The fish density will become 50 kg/m3. Since this fish would require about 170 LPM of dissolved air just for the fish and another 100 LPM of air to maintain the biofloc in the tank the current aeration system may not be enough. Using Airoxy tube the air dissolution efficiency of 30% (my wild guess), current aeration would have to be raised significantly in coming months. Setting up Box Air lift pump structures to move the water as well as dissolve more air, he may be able to save some cost on aeration. My guess is that he will have to split the fish in to 2 ponds with another 4 more HAP-120 to be added for successful harvest or thinning out the bio load by starting harvest from 4th month onwards.

@@abdulsalamkunnilan7405 Great effort sir. Very beautifully done. I think it is best to prepare one more tank and age it with the mix you did originally. Take some water from the existing tank so that you will not get a Nitrite spike. Please do add Ca CO3 as it will help. The flocs are negatively charged and presence of Ca++ ion helps in floc formation(Yoram). I have heard that Anabus has been successfully done in biofloc so you really don`t need to revive your RAS. The aeration requirement is mainly for the Floc in that system. So it is much lighter.

@@sa99mi It is done by using 17 alpha -androgens but dissolving in huge amount of alcohol and ensuring each grain of feed is coated is very difficult. Also RGCA takes great care in keeping genetically pure. The testosterone handling has to be done with extreme care. Though the process is pretty simple, It is better done by professionals.
