3:58 Why not Rc2 here to attack the knight and try to win the bishop? Apparently there's Ba3 threatening Bxd6 to win more material for white in return, and black doesn't have a whole lot of options.

More like after the bishop is captured, just white queen to a4 and the rook is trapped after knight back to c3? It would be giving up the exchange.

In that line there's Rb8 preparing Reb2 to get the rook out, at which point black would have 2 pieces for the rook. Ba3 going for the attack is more potent.

@3:58 what happens if black plays Rc2, threatening the knight on c3, and also the bishop on e2 that will be undefended if the c3 knight moves? It doesn't seem like the knight can be defended, so it has to move, thereby losing the bishop or Knight? I don't think you can trap the rook either, since if you try trap the rook with Qa4, Rxc3, Bb2 threatening rook, then black can just play Rd3, and now defended by pawn, so white will need to give up white square bishop to get the rook. Isn't knight and bishop for rook winning for black? Even if white can also win the d3 pawn after that, isn't black still better? I'd rather have two minor pieces even if rook and pawn is still considered to be worth 6 "points". Also, don't forget that White still has to spend another two tempi at least to win that pawn.. And two tempo st this point in the game is HUGE. So what am I missing here? Isn't Rc2 @3:58 just winning for black?
