Actually this doctor doesn't make any sense! On one hand he acknowledges the hormonal impulses of healthy men and on the other hand he hasn't offered any real solutions. In his expert opinion, should men suppress their desires and live a life of discontentment with his wife? Or should castrate himself or take medication to lower his masculinity? Or should he engage in causal hookups or watch porn and masturbate which are major sins in Islam? Instead all he has done is extrapolate a character from a malayalam kanneer serial and named her poor Pathu and tried to play an emotional card. While he admits that healthy men especially in these times find it difficult to be be content with one wife which may lead to him becoming emotionally distant from her, he hasn't offered the Islamic alternative which is the perfect solution. It's in the best interests of women that Islam permits polygamy.
